Hey !!
How's everyone doin this week? I weighed in this morning and i stayed the same. So i am happy with that. I was very thankful for that, since i got a little wild with the pies this week:rolleyes: Other than that though i ate pretty much on track. I did my elliptical and my toning exercises. So, hopefully i will have a loss next week!

i got a little wild with the pies this week
For me, it was fudge. I just can't resist. :rolleyes1 I didn't know whether to laugh, cry, stamp my feet or cheer when my DD packed a container of goodies to take home....including the (wonderful :cloud9: ) fudge that DSis had sent home. I'm a maintainer this week. :woohoo: I couldn't believe it! YEAH!:dance3:

Congrats Becky! a loss at this time of year is amazing!!!
Amanda I'm with you no change, but I've been naughty, so I'll take it.
I think I'm having a little trouble getting back on track after Disney. I'm not being horible, but just don't seem to have the same willpower?!!??
OK I gotta get my act together! I have 2 pounds to lose for my original goal (the 2 I gained and have kept from vacation) and then I have a new goal:
Next Spring I'm taking my DD and some friends (and one old lady friend for me) to OKW as an early graduation gift and Senior trip thingy, so I want to lose 22 pounds by March 18. That is 2 pounds a week, I really need to push myself to get there! and then after those 22 pounds 10 more by summer, and DD's graduation, and then maintain!!!!! Now repeat back to self over and over!
Good luck ladies, only 1 week left!

Okay - I did WI yesterday and UGH - I was up 4 lbs!!!! Now - I really am hoping it was that salty ham, and way too many other sodium goodies that I had on weekend and then again Tues evening, ham again - surely I did not EAT that much :sad2:
This morning I am perusing the "net" and knowing I had to come post (but trying to avoid it) finally decided better just get my buns over here and "fess" up! I did have veggies at my desk yesterday and did pretty well on eating healty tho I had soup for lunch which I fear was once again "salt" ladened. So.............................. I am not weighing today but off to don my walking shoes and get my buns moving.
Hey on the bright side - I don't think I posted that I did an 11 miler on Sat and actually felt pretty good (body wise) so there is hope that I am going to do the 1/2 event when we go to WDW - in like 10 days - OMG - I need to be "cracking down" and using some healthy food for fuel !!!
And start to think about what I should pack.................
have a good day everyone and :wizard: :wizard: to ALL to get ourselves back into the "groove" of thinking and eating healthy !!
Hugs - cyber Hugs - we are worth it - so let's get our mojo going!!!!!

Teee-heeee-heee. She said "buns".
WEIGH to go, BEV on the 11 miler. :wizard: You know what they say....if you do a 10 mile walk, then the half is in the bag! So you just get down to deciding what you are going to wear. Remember, you should have walked in your half marathon gear before the race. And if for some reason, your body decides during the walk that day that it is a no-go, then at least you will have started the race and get a ride in the sweeper truck. They drop you off at the finish, right?
Don't worry about the 4 pounds. I'm betting it is the salt. Flush with water, eat a bit of fish, eat those veggies, and drink some more water. Time to carb up, too (but don't make my mistake....make sure that they are good carbs!), to have the reserve energy that you will need next week. :cheer2:
Molli, how was the party? We have oodles of December birthdays in our family, so it used to be cake, cake and more cake. This year, my mom made me a "birthday pie".
Jill, I have NO doubts that you can do it, whatsoever. It may take a bit longer than you want-those last few pounds always do- but you WILL "get 'er done."
Amanda, good going on the exercise. :yay: I still haven't resorted to that yet, so I don't wonder that I haven't posted a loss in weeks.
Becky, weigh to go! Keep up the good work 'cause you are our inspiration! :woohoo:
Stay the course, Ladies. We can do it.....one step at a time!:)

Ok, my WI yesterday was horrible. I was up 5lbs............I know its mostly water weight, but I haven't been making the best choices the past week. I've got to get this under control right now and reign it back in. I know I can do it!

i did force myself to get my *buns* moving this morning and did 30 mins poweryoga, when did poweryoga get so difficult?

OK team we're in the final stretch!!!!! (no pun intended Bev)
It sounds like the holidays were a bit challenging for all of us! But it's over (unless you induldge ant new year's eve partys or snacking down with the games) Time to get back on track!!!
We can get our snacking under control
We can resist temptation
We can drink more water
We can get in more exercise
and we can forgive ourselves for our slip-ups and move on to becoming a healthier person!!!!!
So for Debbie, Amanda, and myself-
The pies, fudgge and cookies should be all gone by now, nore more excuses!!!
Melanie- 5 pounds it won't be around long. I'm sure most of it isn't "real". Just remember no mindless snacking while working on the computer (challenge 3). Hopefully you can find some time to get in some exercise, I know that's been my main problem this week.
Molli and Bev- even with the gains, you guys have been awesome with your exercising!!! And I'm sure you're correct Bev on the salty foods doing most of the gaining!! No more ham for you. Water, Water, Water!
Just a few more days, for this challenge, but come Thursday morning, we're still WISHers, and still striving to be healthy.
Have a great day everyone!!!

Hey ladies!
I haven't stepped on that scale this week  I don't think that it would have been happy news. Too many tempting treats! :sad2:
I will be MIA next week because... we are leaving in 3 days for our first trip!:jumping1: At least my exercise for next week will be covered :rotfl:
But I'll be back on the 13th with renewed determination :thumbsup2

Hey everyone! I thought I lost you guys for a while. I kept checking for a new thread. Maybe I should have just started one. :o
Anyways, I have been bouncing the scale like crazy. I'll gain, then lose, gain, and lose again. It's crazy! I think I'm actually back to my starting weight.:sad1:
I got back on track yesterday, but the grilled chicken and salad I had for lunch revolted. So I didn't feel so well for the rest of the day.
But today is another day. I will exercise. I will drink my water and green tea. I will eat healthy! :cheer2:
Have a great Sunday everyone!

Okay, so I got on the scale again today. I have been going at it full blast the past few days. I basically cut out a bunch of carbs (but not all), and I have been focusing on fruits and veggies, too. I also have started drinking diet green tea. Soooo.... in just 2 days I have lost 5.2 pounds! I can't believe it! I know it's just the honeymoon phase and it's all water weight, but I feel so good.
I'm just feeling a little nervous about the new job situation. I sub for an assistant tomorrow 9a-5:15p, wth a 45 minute break at 2. I guess I'll just pack a salad and some chicken for lunch, and a yogurt and banana for snack. And lots of green tea and water! Woo-hoo!!! I'm just glad I'll be able to eat a decent breakfast at 8:30am as opposed to the usual "cram-something-down-my-throat-as-I-head-out-the-door-at-6:15am" that I used to have to do.
Anyways, I know I basically lost all that time in the beginning with being in the hospital, and the recovering, but I am back on track and I don't want to quit now. Besides, I have 18 days until I'm in Disney again!!! :woohoo:
Hope everyone has a great week! :cheer2:

I know this past few weeks have been hard for me too. With the wpasadi game thing going on, I haven't been getting in my normal amts of exercise :sad2: But I will start focusing more on that!!!!!
I am a little nervous about this last weigh in. I hope that I lost something!!! especially since I have been pretty good with food.
Graet job Amber with getting back on track, I think the start of the new year is a great time to do it too, with so many people having resolutions yoou won't be alone!!!
happy new years fellow teammates!!

Hey everyone,
Well as of yesterday I am back on track - YEAH! Feels good. I don't like being out of control. I had a steak for New Years Eve Dinner and it didn't sit to well with me. Guess that serves me right.
Now I've got to work on the exercise part.

Good tuesday fellow Biggest Losers! Can you believe the end of our 17 week challenge is here! It has been an awesome experience and one that I hope to make an annual event at WISH! Wednesday January 3rd, 2007 is the FINAL WEIGH IN day for this challenge. You must send the following information to your team captain: start weight, final weight, percentage lost.
Team captains must PM me with their team results (start weight, final weight and percentage lost of each team mate in the running) and be in my PM box by 11:59 p.m. (EST) Wednesday January 3rd. I will post the winner Thursday morning, no later than 10 a.m.
The overall Biggest Loser in the entire challenge will receive $75 Disney gift card. The biggest loser on each of the remaining teams will each receive a $25 Disney gift card. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!
i'm posting this announcement on each team thread -- please PM me if you have any questions. for BLUE team -- please PM me with your WI results ASAP on wednesday so i can start a'figuring :surfweb:
on a more personal note -- i did step on the dreaded scales today and i'm up like 6 lbs! from the lowest i got to before christmas. i don't think i can re-flush 6 lbs out today! i'm disappointed in myself for not tracking my weight better the past 2 weeks and that's what i get for it. whose bright idea was it to carry BL through the holidays?? :rolleyes1 but it's made me face it now and not March 2nd or May 2nd and I WILL face it squarely when i return from WDW january 10.
I'll miss our group -- it's been a true inspiration for me and i've really enjoyed getting to know each one of you a little more! :grouphug:

Molli, I'm with you. I haven't been a member for long, but I am going to miss the group terribly! :grouphug:
I'll do the weigh in tomorrow. . . and, I sure that I will be up a bit, too. I have started to get myself back on track-one day at a time!

I'll do my WI tomorrow morning too. I'm up a bit too, but the good news is today is two days of being totally OP! Feels good to be in control again. I can't believe how a few days of out of control eating adds up. It really is a good lesson as to why this must be a lifestyle and we shouldn't have days we go off. There shouldn't be days off.
And if I do eat more one day, it shouldnt' turn into a permission slip to eat like that for a week and a half. Literally that is all it was, but yikes it adds up so fast.
I also worked out today- YEAH ME!
I also took the stairs at work today. I haven't done that since I was sick. I was sick for at least two weeks and that really took a lot out of me.
I agree that it's been great getting to know everyone. We could continue to check in a thread, or create one for all of wish to join in?
I'm glad I was on the blue team.
