HELP!!! Post-Bound Album Assembly ???

I have just finished making (2) 12 x 12 post-bound albums to give as Christmas gifts for family gathering tomorrow. It is my first experience working with this type of album. I have post extenders and lots of cardboard strips. I understand the extenders...when/how do I use the cardboard strips? These are Disney albums by SandyLion and I'm not sure I'm assembling these books right!!!

Get the snap load converter kits! They are awesome and make reassembling the book easy. Plus they make it easy to add more on if you decide to do that later. The snaps are easier to use than the posts because sometimes the screws don't all line up right.
