And loved it. Actually, it's our 5th trip overall but first time during December. We were there the week before Christmas and it was awesome as usual. Absulutely perfect weather. 80 degrees, warm and sunny all week. Crowds definitely not an issue. Everything was pretty much a walkon. I was surprised that we got to ride BTTF one last time. That was cool. We ate at Louie's in Universal for lunch. It was good counter service. Had Funnel Cakes for dessert and for dinner we ate at NBA City. Hubby had the Mahi Sandwich and raved about it. I had the Blue Cheese Pasta which was yummy and the kids had buttered noodles with parmesean. They both said it was just ok. Islands continues to be our favorite park out of them all. Just absolutely LOVE the theming. The Grinch was amazing! He gave Jim Carrey a run for his money. Very convincing and yes I totally got the picture! DS was able to ride the big guns for the first time this trip and we all had a lot of fun with that! We ate at Confiscos and it was pretty good but we did have a mishap. We ordered the Shrimp Scargot for our appetizer and it came out with moldy bread. Nobody ate any as I always look at bread really closely but that was the first time anything like that had happened to us so we sort of all lost our appetites. The waitress apologized profusely and sent the manager over. He ended up giving us 2 desserts for free which was not really necessary. I just thought is was good to address the problem that way, the chef would be more aware of the bread going out. It was a great trip and we continue to love the Universal Parks. Any questions, feel free to ask!

Bread seems to go moldy the second it hits the air round here. Too much humidity for this time of year. Glad to hear you had a good time.

While it is unacceptable for a resturant at any time...its a big problem for resturants in Florida.....especially the past few weeks when we've been getting a lot of moisture and unseasonably warm weather......You just like to argue I think.
