Staying off grounds - Help!

Can someone help me on the best way to get to the start area if I am staying off grounds? We are staying just two miles off grounds? Cab? What time to leave?

Kym- We usually drive to the start. There is plenty of parking in the EPCOT parking lot. Last year they closed the parking lot close to the start of the marathon because the race route took the runners by there, but you should have no problem parking before 5:30 a.m. The parking lot does not close for the 1/2 marathon because the route is different.
