I got a CRICUT!!!

YAY!!! I can't wait to have time to use it!! I did take it out of the box, and gave it a practice run, but that was about all the time I had. When I take the tree down I have some re-organizing to do in the house, so I will be doing a lot of stuff in my scrap book room, so I will get it all set up then. I also got a GC to Michael's, which I think I will use for the Cricut tool kit, and maybe another cartridge, anyone have any suggestions of which other one to buy?

Congratulations! I got one too but DH left it out accidentally the day after Thanksgiving so I got mine a little early.

I got Doodlecharms which I love for the variety but I really want to buy one of the font sets. I like Mini Monogram because you can cut with stitching or without.

George is great and all but I get frustrated with it not having lower case. If you can live with that, then you should be fine with it for a while.

Oh, you will love it!! I am very attached to mine! I have George, DoodleCharms, Animal Kingdom, Zoo Balloo (can you tell I love animals??), and then I got Base Camp and Christmas Cheer for Christmas! It is so easy to use!! Have fun with yours!!

I got a Cricut also and 6 cartridges! I could have just died I was so shocked that DH got alll that!!!! Does anyone know of any good forums or sites with ideas besides cricut.com?

My favorite font cartridge is Opposites Attract. It has upper and lowercase, and both block letters and script. The script letters can be glued down so they connect up. For a font cartridge, I get the most use out of that one because there is such variety. I also have Tear Drop which is good.
