I cant type the word "whats" as in - whats up - in a PM to my friend. Is it just me?

you have to use an apostraphe

"whats" is not valid, but "what's" is

If they allowed that I think I would just fall over and die! I make enough typos already, thank you very much. I don't need slang to eat my grammar alive hehe. :)

no "wat" no "meh" (how in the world did they make it in anyway?) no garbage slang!
I am not against "shorthand" like ty and yw but this slang stuff has got to go!
