....and they just got there a couple of hours ago. :)

They arrived at The Grand Californian a little while ago, and they just had to call to say that it is "FABULOUS!!!" :) They said, "Tia, whatever you are picturing it is waaaaaaaaaay more beautiful and more fanciful." This makes me VERY happy :) :) :) because I have set low expectations for the new hotel and DCA (it's just me).

My family goes in May. I can't wait. :) :D :) :D

We looked at the inside of it a couple of weeks ago and it was beautiful!! I loved it. We are going to try to stay there in the future.

All of a sudden I'm feeling that my 'low expectations' are going to be blown out the window! ;)

They called back last night right before bed to rant and rave again and again, and on and on about the hotel...how luxurious it was, and how the lobby just sweeps you off of your feet, and how the service is impeckable! and THEN they started on DCA...and how absolutely INCREDIBLE Soarin' Over California (or whatever the name of that ride is ;) ) was MAGNIFICENT!!! OMG! :eek:

They are so, so impressed. I can't wait. I can't wait. I guess I'll have to, but it's so hard. :D ;)

Good news---DCA was totally empty!
Bad news----everything costs an arm and a leg. I better start saving my appendages. :D
