Well, I have heard very few positive comments about this ride. You get in a "limo" and it takes you through cardboard cut out scenes of LA. They have "stars" to look at. The stars are kind of caricatures of the real people. There is not much in terms of music. It is pretty short lasting maybe 3 minutes max...or at least it seemed short.
I personally did not like it very much.

Super Star limo is kinda like Mr. Toads wild ride...geared towards lil' kids. You move around a make believe bel air, hollywood, etc. I was not impressed at all. Sorry.

So, it's a slow ride through cardboard cutouts? Sounds dull...

...considering the fact that my first reaction when I heard the name "Superstar Limo" was that it would be like Rockin' Roller Coaster at WDW.
Sounds like we'll pass on this one in March. I wonder how this dud got off the drawing board?

Dodie, I had the same impression when I heard the name. I wonder if that is why I didn't like it that much. My expectations were totally different than the reality of the ride.

Yeah, it's kind of lame from an adult perspective, but my 8-year-old loves it. <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz">

I thought it was stupid, really. If it is for adults, it is boooorrrrrinnnngg. If it's for kids, then I am not sure they are going to know who all the cardboard cut outs are. It is pretty much a waste of money on Disney's part, I think.

I didn't know what this ride was and thought it was kinda lame. My 12 YO DD, however, really seemed to like it. Maybe Disney knows something about what kids like?? There is a spot where they take your picture (maybe the fan scene where there are lots of flashes going off). Make sure you smile because you'll be larger than life on the wall a little further ahead.

I personally like Limo because it is cute and there is a lot to see. The only problem that I have is that the vehicles go a bit too quickly to catch all of the jokes the first time around. If they were to move slower, the ride would be longer, and you could soak in a bit more.
My niece and nephew LOVE it. Most of our friends' kids think it's great because they are VIPs.
The animated figures are very well done and I especially like the scene where we are diving into the pool. I think Jackie Chan is my favorite animated figure, followed by Whoopi Goldberg.
Limo is not an E ticket attraction. It is entertaining and cute but it is a dark ride, not a thrill ride. So for what it is, I really like it an recommend it to my friends. So far, most of my friends get a kick out of it.

I heard that Superstar Limo was originally planned as a "Mr. Toad" type ride with Paparrazi chasing you through the streets of Hollywood and the stars were going to help hide you from them, only to have them finally "corner you" at the end and get the shot for their tabloid. Well, then Princess Di got killed and that idea had to be revamped. Obviously, the re-vamping took it's toll on the ride and made it second rate. I bet it will be replaced.

To put it politely, this ride "blows". It was the only ride that we got off of and wondered "what was the point to this ride?". In my opinion, it is one of the worst rides I've ever been on in a Disney park.
A lot of people are probably thinking that it is like the limo rollercoaster ride in MGM at DisneyWorld. It isn't. It's a slow, dull, pointless ride filled with a bunch of animatronic personalities (mostly from ABC TV shows).
Sorry to be so harsh about the ride, but if you go on a day where there are long lines -- avoid it. It is a waste of time. You'd have more fun going to Muppet's 3d or to the Soap Opera Diner, which was pretty fun. The rest of the rides in DCA were pretty good.
