Is there any place such as at Wide World of Sports where you can clean up after the marathon besides the kids fountains at EPCOT? Driving in day of, hope to even finish and was wondering what offsite people do if they want to go to a park afterward. Or is that a stupid question and you are too tired to do anything? 1st time out of shape newbie.
Don't want my family to have to stay 10 feet from me. :)

You know this is a great question. I have no answer. I wonder if you emailed to the event coordinator and posed the question.
If anyone finds out, I would love to know.

Probably not....but what I have done post training which works well enough without a shower....
Pack some baby wipes, some deoderant, fresh clothes down to the undies. Find an indoor bathroom---use your baby wipes to wash up with---getting the important areas. Do a head splash of water...put on the fresh clothes and you will be as good to go as you can get.
It will make a world of difference than just throwing on the fresh clothes.
Unfortunately there is really no good place to clean up. YOu are no where near WWS when you finish and due to the race and when you actually finish--you may not be able to shuffle over their anyway.
I had a medical need to be cleansed after my full in 2005 and the nurses directed me to a porto station that they had connected to a water hose so that they did have a sink. that was the best that could be offered for me and I had medical need to be cleaned up.
