I was alerted to this by someone on another board: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061217/hl_nm/france_autism_dc_1
I think it's lovely that they have found something that links people with ASDs together. It means that it gets them closer to finding a cure for it. I like this only on the basis that it doesn't into X Men 3 style story, in which everyone is forced to take it up for a cure. You should definetely be given a choice about it. :thumbsup2
Having Asperger Syndrome is apart of me. I wouldn't give it up for all the Pokemon Merchandise in the world.. :cloud9:

It's good news Matt :thumbsup2
It's also good to hear that you are so comfortable with being yourself, it's one of the most important things in life and a lot of other people could do with a dose of that :)

Very true, a lot of people could do with knowing how to treat people with ASD as well. As my son gets older other people's perception of him is changing and not for the better.

yes, i agree with you, and i find that children with asperger syndrome have a raw deal as they get older-are not understood and are expected to conform to our way of doing/seeing things.
All children no matter what ASD they have- should have the respect and help that they so deserve.
