Hi Dagny,

I will be at WDW from January 31-February 6 and I was thinking about going to the P&P Party, but wanted to hear more about it first. I am traveling solo and wonder if the P&P Party is more for kids and families, rather than adult solo visitors. However, I originally wondered the same thing about MNSSHP, but have heard quite a few adults say that they enjoy that party.

I have not bought a ticket yet. There are 3 P&P Parties scheduled before I arrive, so hopefully some people who go will provide reports about what they think about the party. However, maybe I might consider going if I am meeting up with someone. :) I have heard that there will be a special parade and fireworks just for the party.

I'm still undecided at this point, unless you do a good job of persuading me to go! pirate:

I will be there Feb 2- Feb 7 and I WILL be traveling with my 7 year old son, who would prefer to be called Captain Jack ;) I am, however, meeting up with several girlfriends who are also traveling solo, and they would just like to meet Captain Jack ;)

I am sure that the party will be geered towards kids and adults alike. Have you been to either MNSSHP or MVMCP?

I have been to MVMCP, but not MNSSHP. I did enjoy it and found enough stuff to keep me entertained. Still, the P&P Party is new and no one has had the chance to go to it yet. Once I hear a little more about it, I decide if I want to go or not. It would be nice to meet "Captain Jack" though! pirate: ;)

Aloha! I am totally up for a meet whenever. Looks like ALL of us have PS's at 4:20 pm @ LTT. Think they would enjoy us telling them we need to combine all of our tables together, muahahahahahaha :)

Hey Dagny, do you have a favorite spot to watch the parade in Frontierland? There are 2 parades scheduled at 8:30 & 10:30. Which parade do you plan to see? We could claim a spot for the parade about a half hour before (or earlier) and then everyone can spend the time before the parade getting to know each other! :cool1:

I'm staying at Pop, too! I've stayed there a couple of times before and really like it. I was in the 50s building both times.

You are unfamiliar with the Pirate & Princess Party? It's a special ticketed event at MK, much like MNSSHP and MVMCP. You can go to AllEarsNet to learn more about it: www.allearsnet.com. Last time I visited the sight, they had a link right on the homepage about the P&P Party. It sounds like fun - you should give it some thought.

Are you going to be at WDW on Feb. 3rd? Some of us Disboarders are meeting at Crockett's Tavern at Fort Wilderness at 8 p.m. that night. Look for the thread under "Dismeets" called "DisMeet at Crockett's Tavern". rer1972 is organizing it. Hope you can join us. :cool1:

That works for me :) I am guessing we will watch both parades LOL... just a guess... I am really open to whichever. How about a spot in front of the country bear jamboree? that should make it easy to locate :)

I'm planning on going on my own little photography "tour" at some point, but I would like to meet up with some of you if you're still there. Who will still be around on those days?

I probably won't do one this trip, though, unless there is one Wednesday night. I've stayed at Pop once before and I think I was in the '90s building. Glad to be of assistance! I don't know the dates for the P&P Party, but AllEarsNet should have a listing to tell you if there is one Wednesday night.

I usually eat only breakfast at Pop, so we could meet then. I like to get an early start to get to the parks before they open. I expect that I will get breakfast at around 7:30. Please let me know if that would work for you. :)

Hey Krista.... most everyone in our group is leaving Tuesday. I will be there until Wednesday afternoon (flight leaves at 6:00 pm). Are you available on Sunday night, maybe we can hook up and do something then? MK is actually having EMH that night... are you up for that?

Well, everyone, herodrx1 and I looked for other DISsers at the LTT on Feb 5, but wouldn't you know that it was the fastest we were seated the entire trip? We tried to keep an eye open for anyone sporting the LGMH, but between the characters, kids, and DH's, we missed all of you. I hope that everyone had as great a time as we did! Maybe we can hook up next time! Did any of you find each other?
