Wiis - Will you have one?

My question is will you get a Nintendo Wii, or are you expecting one as a present this year, or even are you giving one to someone? Are you EXTREMELY lucky? :teeth:

I HOPE I get one for Christmas but it's most likely going to be me buying myself one during the January Sales..

I don't normaly get a console until its hacked and I don't have to pay for my games, but I think in this case (as I did with the gamecube), I might well be purchasing one as soon as they are easily available. I will have to get a US model though, as my gamecube titles are all US, so to take advantage of the backwards compatability thing, I'll have to get the same region console.

I was lucky to get one for DD from Amazon on friday morning, it`s been dispatched and no doubt it will arrive tomorrow or tues. Not that I`ll see it, it`s a pressie for her BF who is working in Prague!
I`ve told her to pack it in her hand luggage ( that should be OK?) as it a is a valuable item :rolleyes:

No breakages yet :) I am slightly worried by what some people must be doing in order to do all this damage though as I haven't even felt the need to wear the wrist strap yet :confused3

The nearest we have come to an accident is when I let DW try the tennis and she nearly clocked me with her forehand :duck: fortunately I got out of the way in time :teeth:

Phoenix Wright is a great thing, can't really say game more of a story, zero chance you'd want to play it again after completing it but was really good.

Current other favourite is new super mario bros, I love the huge mushroom!

Super Mario Bros looks cool but I am too lazy to buy it.. :teeth:

What I meant is that it has one save slot for people's games i.e. I can't nick my brother's game and play it without doing stuff on his game. Or at least that is what he says it is.. :)

Super Smash Brothers Brawl for the Wii looks awesome. It is so fun; basically Nintendo Characters beating each other up. It's great, and they have Pokemon on there too!! :thumbsup2 :teeth: :goodvibes :love:

Bf was telling me someone has already figured out a way to copy the games, it was only a matter of time! I heard that Nintendo was supposed to be making the Wii regionless but they changed their minds, i'm sure someone will come up with a way to hack it though.

We were hoping to pick one up for DS10 for Christmas. HOwever, we didn't know that we wanted it until we played it at a nearby mall - 10 days before Christmas.

Anyway, today Target just got a shipment, as we arrived and we purchased it.

Now we are waiting for my husband to come home to install it.
