Does anyone go to or know about the University of Central Florida? I am a senior in highschool and am interested in this school. I live in Oklahoma, so it would be a long way to go so I was wondering just how good of a school it was. I would be auditioning for the musical theatre major. Anything would help! Thanks! :cool1:

I did my undergrad at OU, and am now in grad school at UCF. It's a good school, but if you're looking for musical theater, the program at OU is much better. If you're set on Florida, take a look at FSU -- their programs are probably the best in the state and are among the best in the country.

My dd is a senior in high school also and is auditioning for the musical theatre program at University of Central Florida in February. This is their website:

She has been looking at schools for over a year and really liked their program. Will let you know how it goes.

UCF alum here - loved it! I worked at WDW on the days I didn't have any classes so that was an added bonus. :thumbsup2

Glad to hear you loved it. Thats my dd's plan too, hopefully to get into the musical theatre dept there, and work for Disney also.
