I'm so excited! I've just booked the 4 night cruise on the Wonder for DH's 29th birthday. It will also be my little boy's (16 months by then) first cruise outside the womb. I can't wait for him to meet Mickey! Anyone else going?

Hi, I am also going on the disney wonder cruise on April 22nd. I am new to this web site as well as to Disney cruises. I am going with my sister and my two children. I have a 6 (at time of travel) and a 2 year old(at time of travel). We are all so excited. :cool1:

I am so glad to see this post, for awhile I was beginning to think that I was the only DIS'er going on this cruise. I tried to start a thread several months ago and there were only 3-4 responses. This will be the first cruise ever for my partner and I, and we will be celebrating our 5th anniversary on board. (The cruise is actually taking place several weeks after our 6th anniversary, but to get a good deal I had to book over a year out....)

We are all together too excited and looking forward to meeting other DIS'ers onboard.

Me, DH, and my DS (4) & DD (4)--age at time of cruise...will be there. We were going on the 7-night, but I switched to the 4-night because I wanted to do some Disney time too...I took hubby on a 3-night cruise over the summer and he loved it...It was my plan to get him into cruising...it worked!!! Can't wait...and can't believe it's less than 4 months away. I booked the original cruise 13 or so months out. WOW!

Anybody else? If not, the small group of us should have no problems at all getting Palo reservations, excursion reservations or chairs on the deck near the pool.....LOL

There must be others travelling when we are.

Come on out and say hello!

Hi there! DH, myself and our DD (age 5) are 99.9% ready to book for the four day April 22nd cruise.I have a hold on a room via AAA. It's our first Disney cruise. We need a family vacation this year! LOVE THE DIS BOARD! Past few weeks I've been up until past midnight researching for this trip! Nothing is set yet... Looking at various travel sites (including AAA), I'm leaning toward either a room on Decks 5, 6 or 7. Any perks with Cats 5 or 6 I should know about? I have a room on hold on Deck 6 Cat 6 but then there's another I see Cat 5 on Deck 5. HELP ME FELLOW DISers!!!! Any fun or solid bits of advice before signing our name on the dotted line and booking the trip!?!!?

Here's to SUNNY WARM AND SMOOTH SAILING for April 22nd!!!!

Thanks!

I am category 6. I 'heard' the verandahs (if that is the type of room you're getting) are a bit larger...also gotta watch because some of the verandahs on the end have the solid railing versus the plexiglass...(I got this info from the Passporter guide)...

Can't wait...we're almost in the <3 month mark!

We had a Category 6 Room (5622) on our cruise in September 2005 on the Magic. The location on Deck 5 was very quiet. However, we didn't really enjoy being on the deck with all the kids clubs. If you have kids, this would be great though! I don't know about the verandahs...sorry!

Thanks for the feedback! Our DD (5) might enjoy having the OCeaneers club on the same level as our room. AAA said it was an open railing in room 5622. We have this room but there is another on Deck 6.. closer to mid ship but not by much (only drawback on this other room is that's it's an adjoining room which we are in need of). Thoughts? About to call AAA tonight to get this booked!!! OH I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!:cheer2:

We loved room 5622...very quiet and nice to have a short hallway with not many rooms on it. The balcony was a plexiglass so you could see right through. Only drawback is the last night, it is loud with them gathering luggage. There is a staff door right across the hallway.

Lisa and I are in a Cat. 5 room on deck 7....room 7070. It is mid-ship so it should be perfect.

This will be our first cruise and we are smack dab in the middle of trying to decide what to do in Nassau. Lisa wants to do a dolphin swim, so I am looking into booking something outside of the DCL excursion.

We also want to do Palo one night and I am already stressing about making the reservation. I am sure that we will get something, and we are not going to be picky about the night. We are also hoping for brunch, but being first time cruisers and only being able to book at 75 days out, I am not going to get my hopes up.

I am SO looking forward to this trip. It will be the first real vacation that we have had since moving to North Carolina 2 years ago.

Ok AAA has package deal which includes airfare but we won't know details as to what airline nor flight info until 30 prior to departure. Is this worth taking the chance?

AAA said " The airline with cruise line won't know until 30 days prior to departure, however, they will send me out the airport i am requesting, but the time and connection will be find out 30 days prior to departure. But if i'm looking for specific time and schedule and connection, they can customize my trip by paying 50.00 pp to do the air diveation.then I will know the time and airline i am flying on.

Not sure what to do? Any advice?:confused3

What kind of deal are you getting with AAA? Is it cheaper than Disney or Dreams Unlimited? I don't like letting someone else have control over my airfare. We are flying SW (since the Wright amendment repeal we can fly out of Dallas and we had free tickets) and we are also flying in the night before. Did you run the numbers and see how they compare?

Just heard from AAA. I can do my air seperately if I wish. The cruise price with transportation from airport and with travel insurance for cruise only is reduced. Just insurance needed on the air portion of the trip. Plus this package with AAA I get onboard credit too.

HAPPINESS IS!:goodvibes

Waiting to hear back on when we can do our reservations etc! Still trying to figure out what night and when for Palo. We have an early dinner seating 6pm.

Wondering on any insight with Category 6 rooms and what's offered to such rooms... ie special services, extras? Not familiar

Lisa and I have early seating too. Even though we are just 2 adults, no kids....we usually eat early and decided that first seating wourld work best for us.

I am SO unbelievably excited about this cruise I just about can't stand it. It will be our first time cruising and we are so looking forward to all the new experiences....and the food!

Checking in for the April 22nd Wonder.

Were in Cat 1 (Walt) with quite a crowd. It's

Dad
Mom
DD (8)
DD (5)
DS (2 1/2)
DD (1)

Also MIL & FIL

Our first time cruising as a family, first time on DCL.

This cruise have been 3 years in the making. I started July of 05 preparing to book a cat 3. I then got big eyes and moved up to a cat 2, but the cat 1 was only a little more. We had the cat 1 for a March 06 trip until we got the news that mom was going to have another... We put all vacation plans on hold, had our 4th in april 06 and re-scheduled for april 07. So we NEED this vacation. Were going to cap both ends with stays at WDW, Poly and AKL so we'll be fully disney saturated by the time were done!!!

Would love to hear from all dis'rs and any tips you might have since this will be our first DCL cruise. I'm so happy that I found disboards, the folks here have helped me make many decisions so far. Look forward to seeing you all in April!!!

Regards,

Roveer

WOW!!! The Walt suite for your first cruise......

I am intensely jealous.

I know that we are all going to have a wonderful cruise, in all our respective cruise categories.

What excursions is everyone planning to do?

We first timers also get to race for Palo reservations soon. We are SO hoping to snag one for dinner as well as brunch.

I am jealous about the Walt Suite--maybe someday! You could always invited your fellow Diser's for a sneak peak (hint, hint)!

We are planning on going to the Ardastra Gardens on our own in Nassau. We've read that you can take the bus there and admission is only $12 per person and kids under 4 are free. We want to do this in the morning so we are going on our own as opposed to Disney. DS is too small for an all day beach or bus excursion.

We are so ready to get away to someplace warmer--it's snowing here in Dallas!

I know that the Dolphin excursion books really fast and you need to book it with Disney as soon as you can. You can also check out www.nassauparadiseisland.com for information about the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter. I'm sure it also has a website. Good Luck!

ROVEER - WOW! WALT SUITE!!! What a Family trip you're gonna have!!! MY HUBBY IS LOOKING OVER MY SHOULDER and ASKS "ADOPT US!" ha ha ha!

This is our first cruise with our DD (5). She knows we are going on a "cruise" but neither has the concept of what a 'cruise' is NOR when we are going! We're going to try and keep mum until the day of (i know I won't get any sleep the night before! It will be just like the night before XMAS!! I'll be too excited to sleep!!!! hee hee hee:rotfl:

Ok, I might be late to the party (dont' get on very often), but if you're in the Cat1, you can probably already book your Palo reservations...I believe you can do it 105 days ahead of time and we're at 78...

Dolphin encounter...last year, DH and I did a royal caribbean cruise and did the dolphin encounter in nassau...i believe it's through the same place. It was SO COOL...water is a little chilly, but it was so much fun. We were thinking about taking the kids, but they're just turning 4 and I'm concerned that they'll get freaked out...as cute and fun as they are, they're a lot bigger than them...so anyway...again, we really enjoyed it...

So, did everyone get Palo, spa and excursions booked??

I was on vacation in Vegas at the 75 day mark and could not book then as my computer would not let me do it. After a bit of a panic, my wonderful Dreams agent Sue Ellen booked Palo for me. We are doing the brunch as well as dinner on Nassau night.

We are doing a Cabana Massage on Castaway Cay, but I was not able to book excursions and I am not sure why. All I keep getting is a button for more information, not a place to book one. We are hoping for the Dolphin Encounter but may bite the bullet and go with a private company to so the actual swim.

Yup...got my Palo Brunch...did the 3am thing. :) I debated on the Palo dinner and decided against it. I wanted to make sure we had a night in each restaurant. The 2nd and 3rd night are the same restaurant, but Nassau is typically the 'dress up' night and we're planning on putting our daughter in her princess outfit and we have a nice tie for our son...and then Castaway night is Pirate night and we have a special outfit planned for our son. So...we're just doing Brunch. That's fine though...I'm happy with that.

As for the SPA...I booked the exotic rasul for me and DH...I told him I booked something, but didn't tell him what... :) :) :)

DH and I did the Dolphin Encounter last year when we went to Nassau. It was SO MUCH FUN...didn't do the swim. Didn't seem worth the extra money. We were debating on whether to do it again with our twins (they'll be 4), but the thought of spending that much money only to have them scared made me decide against it...maybe next time!

So...that's it from COLD COLD COLD NJ...CANNOT WAIT!!!!

Cat-You mentioned you had the early dinner at 6? How do you know? the Main dining is 5:30, 5:45 and 6pm...How do you know which you have already? When I called DCL and asked they said the ship does that and they don't know that this far in advance...Just curious.

Once again...really weird...because based on everything I've read, it's the 2nd restaurant that is repeated. SO BIZARRE. I think they're just trying to keep us on our toes.

I know on allearsnet.com there are copies of Navigator's, but the one for the 4-night is from December (I think).

But HEY...did you notice? We are officially UNDER 2 months!!! WHOO HOO! :cool1:

Do you want to meet on the sail away party? I don't know enough about the ship to suggest a place. Hubby and I have 7:30 Palo reservations for the first night, but we can meet up before then.

If you board early enough, you can probably make a change to your current Palo reservation if you're not happy with it. I've heard they leave some open for cases like when folks don't have internet access and the like.

Good luck...

I appreciate the tip :thumbsup2 , but I think I'm going to leave it... I've got day care for 6:30-10:30 the first night, so I'm just going to enjoy the party and the nice date with the hubby. Sure thing! 1 of the reasons we're doing the brunch is because it seemed more appealing to me than the dinner (DH and I have VERY simple tastes)...Plus, my munchkins will be 4 and we WANT to have dinner w/ them.

So anyway...Hope everyone has a nice weekend. I'm not on as much on the weekends...too much to do with the kids, errands and the like.

We are doing an 8 pm Palo dinner on Nassau day and a 12 noon brunch. I am so excited about getting both. I actually got the brunch several days after my 75 day mark.

I like the idea of meeting at the Sail Away Party. I don't know the ship so I have no idea where to suggest.

Brandie, there is a good possiblity that you and I will pass in the hallway at least once during our cruise!

Have a good weekend everybody. I am on call and know that I have to work a bit, but hopefully it will be a quiet weekend with no emergencies. I work for 2 group homes that serve teenagers and young adults with Autism. On any given weekend, anything can happen...but hopefully not this weekend.

I'd love to eat with Fiona, but I think she may not want to eat with me! :) She gets the wiggles after 1/2 hour at a restaurant, so I try to be considerate of that. *sigh* One day, though!

Linda,

*chuckle* We probably will pass each other! I would like to meet, though. Do you want to wear buttons or something to recognize each other at a specific spot for Sail Away?

I like the button idea...perhaps they can be made from the lime green Mickey heads found at Home Depot? Any other suggestons?

What dinner seating does everyone have? We are main seating....not sure what rotation I am hoping for. We have Palo on the second night so I am hoping not to miss Animator's Palette. Of course we can always go to dinner just for the show and then up to Palo to actually eat. Our Palo dinner is at 8 pm.

I am already stressing about the potential weight gain. I think I might be doing lots of early morning laps on the track.

Morning everybody....or should I say "goodnight" LOL

I have been up all night. I work for 2 group homes serving teenagers and young adults with Autism. I am on call for the weekend. It was supposed to be a quiet weekend so I had all sorts of stuff planned. Well, then "stuff" happened.

At 2:40 p.m. I had a call out for third shift the same night. There is no relief staff this weekend so I get to work the shift...yeah!!

At 3:30 I get a call from one of my houses that one resident has had a bad outburst injuring a staff member. He needs to go to the ER. There is no relief staff so I get to go in....yeah!!

At 6:30 he returns stating that he is now on light duty and cannot work tomorrow. Not a problem I think....we have several residents going home on day visits and will only need one staff for most of the day. I scramble to cover the rest of the day and gead home to get only 3 hours rest.

I come back to work, work all night, come home and am just settling down to breakfast before I have to get some sleep and I get a call from the teacher of one of the residents who was supposed to be going on a field trip today....it has been cancelled. So, now we have only one staff and we need another. Guess who gets to go in????? Sleep, who needs it anyway.

There are days when I SO LOVE ( read the extreme sarcasm here) my job.

At least I have a wonderfully restful, hopefully sunny and bright cruise to look forward to.

Well the weather guys and gals said we were suppose to get MAYBE half to an inch of snow before it was to change over to freezing rain this afternoon. Looking at my clock... a bit after 2 in the afternoon.... DD just stuck a measuring stick outside ..... it's measuring 5 inches and not a drop of freezing rain in sight!! I wonder what's up with all this HIGH QUALITY/TOP NOTCH weather equipment they hype about to make these predictions.

Anyways...... any one know about the princesses on the 4 day cruise? When/where? DCL Vets out there.... insight??? princess:

I agree on the Linda nap... WOw.... Maybe leave her cookies or cake of the day for when she wakes up, though! :) She'd never know which of us it was!

About your weather... Are you living near Denver??? Our weather is unpredictable like that. But I'd much rather have snow than freezing rain, though. Are your kids doing the "SNOW DAY!!!" dance already? :)

My daughter couldn't jump out of her PJ's and into her snowgear/attire fast enough when she heard me leave to shovel the driveway. We built our first snowman (or more like a snow blob!). We're about to head back out in a few to go back at the driveway and take some photos. Trees look like they are painted with snow. Maybe I'll bring a radio out there and play some Jimmy Buffet CD's while we do it ! "Margaritaville" seems appropriate!:woohoo:

Thanks for the good wishes everybody.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse today I got a call at 3:40 p.m. from one of my houses wanting to know where I was. Well, I replied I am not coming in until 4:30, when one of the more difficult residents gets home from a home visit so I can provide some support if she needs it. Well, the employee on the phone says that she was told that I would be in at 3 to work the full shift!!!! ***!!! So, I call the person in charge of scheduling and she tells me that the afternoon person had a family emergency, but that she had heard that I would be there anyway so it was okay. How nice of everyone to tell me! I had planned on making sure that Megan was okay and then getting to home and a nap. Now I am working until 11 p.m. Luckily all the kids are being really good, and I can sneak away for a bit and type this note.

I just know that there is something good in all of this for me. On call rotations can either be really good, with no call outs or emergencies or really bad with tons of both. This was a really bad one.

How many more hours until noon tomorrow? Bring on the sun, an frozen cruise drink, a lounge chair and a snack!--How I wish I could have all of those tomorrow instead of waiting until April.

Wow... Linda, that's some bad karma to the scheduling person!!!

I'm sorry! The best curse I can come up with at the moment (elbow deep in federal tax calculations) is that I wish they have 4 phones to count federal excise taxes for 2003-2006...!

Why oh why do we have so many phones?????

Well, I am happy to report that I got 10 uninterrupted hours of sleep last night. The phone was blessedly quiet and everyone who was supposed to show up for work last night and this morning did.

I had two meetings today, one of which was with my boss. I had my annual review which was much better than I had anticipated and then she sent me home to get some rest. As I am way over in hours I was told to take it easy this week, so I will. I have a few committments but luckily I can set my own schedule otherwise.

As busy and frustrating as it was to have to work so much, it is a good thing to be working with the kids and observing staff as well. I do enjoy working with the residents and not just being an administrator. It is also good for the regular staff to see that an administrator can and will do the smae things that they do each and every day. Working with our residents, and seeing the small miracles that occur each day make me remember why I got into this field in the first place. It truly is my vocation and I learn something from the residents each and every time I work with them.

Thanks again for all the support this weekend. It was one of the things that got me through...checking this thread for new messages from all my new cruise buddies. I am so looking forward to meeting everyone on the cruise.

Of course, finding things with their names on it proves to be difficult, but at least there won't be 5 of them in their class. And oddly, we DID find licenses with their names on them in Nassau last year. Weird. :)

I think Gavin is becoming more popular. 'Course, now that my brother has me trained to say "Gavin" he wants to be known as "Benjamin" which is his middle name. Stinker. My daughter also has a "Gavin" at her day care.

If you see anything with "Brandie" I'll be amazed. I actually came across another Brandie on the DisBoards today--knock me over with a feather!

Hey everybody,

I hope this note finds you all well. I have been out of touch for the past few days as we are house and pet sitting for some friends who only have dial up...horror of horrors, and the DIS website and boards just won't load properly. So, I have made my way to Starbucks to get my DIS fix for the day.

I was asked today if I wanted to attend a 2 day conference on Autism. Needless to say I said yes! I guess hard work does pay off. I was the only one asked to go and it looks like it is going to be an excellent and information packed 2 days. So, a conference at the end of March and a cruise at the end of April!

The weather here in the mountains of NC has been georgeous the past few days. Spring is not far off and it is finally starting to warm up.

How is everyone else today?

What's everyone up to this weekend?

I am taking today off from work as I worked WAY too many hours this week. We are going planning on doing a bit of shopping tomorrow morning in preparation for a birthday dinner for several of our friends in the evening. Then I have to make a party sized banana pudding to bring.

Hopefully Sunday will be a pretty day so we can be out and about and enjoy the sunshine.

Welllll.... Our new LG fridge has broken for the second time in 9 months, so we're swapping the old fridge back into the kitchen from the garage. Don't buy LG, by the way. For anything. The repair guy can come out March 15th. Don't buy LG--bears repeating. Took them 5 weeks to fix the fridge when it didn't work when we plugged it in at our house. Don't buy LG. Hubby left the freezer stuff out on the counter overnight because "he didn't see it." Yeah, there's more... He was the one to pull it out and put it all out on the counter. And yes, I did ask him 3x later if he was sure everything was in the deep freeze.

Sooo. Yeah. Thank goodness our old fridge works, huh? The first guy to come out showed us how to fix it. I'm pretty glad he did that. *argh*

That banana pudding sounds wonderful. I'm thinking of having cookies for lunch. *sigh*

I'll try and get out at some point this weekend and swing by the paint department at Home Depot.

Cookies for lunch??? Sounds like my kind of meal!!! What kind of cookies re you having?

I have 2 boxes of Girl Scout "Thanks Alots" on my counter. I had pretzels and coke for lunch....a few cookies for dessert sounds like a perfect ending.

Fridge trouble.....does not even sound like fun. I hope it gets better.

As for cookies... Yes. :thumbsup2 One or two of each, excepting the peanut butter ones. I also have the coconut Milanos (? little white bag of cookies, from the grocery store) calling my name. I did "good" and ate pizza and Chef Boyardee, but the extra calories are still calling my name.

But hey, at least I have the ability to get more food from the store, and money to buy it with. I keep reminding myself it could be worse; I could have been in the bad weather in Alabama this morning. :sad2: I even have a working fridge and deep freeze for any food I go get. So no more whining!!! :rotfl2: It's Friday!

Ok, back to work!

I picked up a couple of stacks of Mickey heads at Home Depot. By the way, there is no "Lime Green"... I got Alien Green and Sonic Boom. :confused3 Alien Green is just that... what I would guess alien snot looks like. No offense intended! The other color is a darker green.

The stickers are actually pretty small. I'm thinking about 2 to 2.5 inches wide, maybe. Mousebrat, I think the small clear or white Avery labels should work; do you have any? I can't run the Mickey Heads through any of my printers, and I don't have a label printer. I just have a scanner and a few printers in the house. That's not to say I can't grab sheets of labels from Wal-Mart or something.

What name should go on these? Our screen name or our real name? I don't think I would recognize it if someone called me "LadyShiva" in real life. And these stickers are probably too small to go with 2 names.

My other cruise has a PDF with pictures + whatever information you would like to volunteer. Would you like me to put one of those together? I would prefer to gather that info via PM, if we're going to do it.

Lemme know your opinion when you get a moment, please.

I completely understand about the # of times needed when asking hubby questions or requests! We got back from grocery shopping yesterday. I left him in the kitchen to tend to our daughter who was throwing a fit (couldn't get something at store - her fit went the entire length of trip home. "CRUISE" is my montra! I digress...). After daughter settled, I started load of laundry, minor clutter organizing and came back to find hubby watching NFL network...FROZEN FOOD WAS STILL ON THE COUNTER!!!! Thanks for getting the Mickey Heads. I checked at our locak Home Depot and they had non left. There must be more DIS'ers in Asheville than originally thought as the man working in the paint department said that they disappear quite quickly....LOL.

So, where is everyone staying the night before the cruise?

Lisa and I are at Country Inn and Suites. We are driving down from Asheville starting on Friday. We will stay with her Dad friday night and then head on down Saturday. We are going to time it so that we can stop in Savannah in time for lunch at "The Lady and Sons", Paula Deen's restaurant and then continue to the Port.

Kiddo was asleep in the truck (and the angels sang Hallelujah! :rotfl2: ), so I ran into Home Depot while Huber stayed outside and chuckled at "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me." He's very nice about waiting with her outside. That's how I was able to get groceries today.

I sooooo understand the store frustration... and the frozen food frustration. *argh* Huber could tell you about his frustration going clothes shopping with me... Oh vey. He'd much rather buy only one pair of pants than the 5 I insist on getting (He does dishes, I do laundry). We have 50 jillion glasses and 2 sets of silverware. :rotfl: One is from his college days (which he only uses) and one is my inherited set from my grandmother that I prefer to use.

We are so tooky.

So about the fridge... I'm going to hire a moving company to swap the fridges. We can't get the new, non-working fridge moved. It's just too heavy. And that's even with all the shelves out and the doors off. You'd think if it was that heavy, it'd be sturdy, but I think they just filled the back with rocks and called it good. *sigh* *grin* Don't buy LG.

Heya, Linda...

I found some of the tiny mailing labels in my filing cabinet, so I can also bring those, too. They're white, though.

We're at the Airport Marriott. We get in at 11 pm, so I figured that would be easy. We traded in some points for a room, but I think it would have been $135.

As for the calories, I had heard that just like on the cruise, there are no calories in anything served at the Lady and Sons.

:dance3: I finally 'fessed up to the hubby that I wouldn't be happy with any hotel for the day after the cruise unless it was AKL. I've been driving him :scared: bonkers with all the "but this hotel has this, and this hotel has this, and I don't know if it's worth XYZ, but you know... and then...." etc etc etc... So I price it out, and find out it is actually doable, seeing as we're changing points for the night before the cruise (so that's free, right???) and the hotel rooms are $130-200 per night, and AKL, pool view, is $300 or so...

AKA, I bothered him enough to let me spend the money to get a room for a night. :rotfl: I'm just too cheap to pay $400 for a night, so what I wanted has always been too rich for my blood... until I could justify it...

So anyway, two minutes after I get told to just book the darn thing and stop pestering and babbling to him about it, he gets a call saying he has a check waiting on him at the office when he goes in tomorrow from the wrong W-2 mess.

For the exact amount I had been debating.

He doesn't find that as funny as I do. He says this cruise had better be good, for all the torture he's going through about it. :lmao:

Had to share... Figured you guys would find it funny, too.

Brandie,

I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason....and it sounds like it did just that for you! Congrats on the AKL decision. Lisa and I stayed there several years ago and it was truly one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. We had a Savannah view with lots of animal action at all hours of the day and night.

Unfortunately for us, we have to head right back to NC after the cruise. It is killing me to be so close to WDW and not be able to get there. I used to work for the Disney Store in NYC and got very used to visiting several times each year. Now that I no longer do it is much harder to visit, even though I live an 8 hour drive away. I wish I could get there more.

For me this year the cruise will have to be my Disney fix.

Have a great evening!

Sorry that it has taken me so long to respond about the nametags. I too picked up about 20 Mickey's at Home Depot. They are kind of small... We didn't make it to the dismeet on our first cruise because I was pregnant and tired by the time that we had the meet. So, I took a nap instead. So, I'm not sure what kind of nametags that they did. I know that we pm'd our name, city and state, as well as ages to the coordinator for nametags. I'm not sure if we could cut the Mickey Head's out and put them on some other nametags. I'm going to do some looking if that's okay with everyone. Or, if we just want to bring sharpees and write our names that's okay too. Please, give me your thoughts.

Welcome, TigerFan1!

Are you excited? I'm soooo ready for vacation!

On a different note... Packing... I think I'm breaking down and buying the LL Bean toiletry trunk ;) today. I'm getting the big one. Hubby has already done the significant look around the bathroom and agreed I should get the biggest one they have! :rotfl2: For 50 bucks, though, with shipping and taxes, this sucker better hold everything!!! *grin*

Ok, off to work. Once again, TigerFan1, :cheer2: WELCOME :cheer2: to the group!

Just bumping this up so a new poster can find it.

There is another DIS'er travelling on our cruise....Laaura0304 with her family and I wanted her to be able to find the thread if she would like to join our meet.

Our cruise is getting SO close! I am now beginning to stress out about what to wear. I can either buy new stuff and not do excursions and such or wear what I have and be able to splurge on the cruise stuff. Of course the decision is an easy one...LOL, but I really am not happy withwhat I have and want new stuff!!!

I am also beginning the good weather, everyone stay healthy prayers and wisher....can't hurt right?

Have a gerat Sunday everyone, and welcome to our thread Laaura0304.

I second the clothes and shoe shopping urges. I tried on a pair of Crocs yesterday to see what all the fuss was about. I tried the "sea foam" mary janes, and while they were comfortable, I just cannot justify 30 or so bucks for plastic shoes. At least for me... Fiona may get a pair of Disney shoes... :rotfl: I'm such a MOM! The other part is the fact that I have at least 2 other pairs of sandals... from when I was pregnant with Fiona and my feet were swollen! Chiana let me know at least one pair was quite tasty, so I maybe should let that pair go to the trash, eh? That still would leave me 2 pairs... :rolleyes1

Alright... time to get up and do laundry!

Brandie,

I SWEAR by my Crocs. They are the only shoes that I can wear for up to 16 hours ( when I am on call and working with the kids at the group home) that don't make my feet hurt. We recently went to Vegas with our frieds and the 3 of us wearing Crocs did not have problems at all. The one who didn't was covered in band-aids covering blisters.

Now, I have tried on the Mary Janes and didn't find them as comfortable as the Beach or Cayman models. To me the sole of the Mary Jane felt thinner and the strap on the back not as secure.

What I like about them is that after you wear them for a bit the sole of the shoe conforms to the contour of your foot, providing support where you need it. It is something that you might not feel just upon trying them on as it tends to happen as your foot warms the shoe.

They are also great for Disney in the rain as they dry quickly and so do your feet. I prefer mine with a thin no show sock, but in the rain I go sockless with no problem at all.

On our cruise you will see me in Crocs of all colors as I plan on bringing several pairs. They are so light you can bring several and they still don't weigh what one pair of sneakers does.

Have a great day,

Linda

Ah hah! I was wondering! So it was just the new style!

Ok, I did it. Got 2 pair of Crocs for $32.45 from Shoebuy.com. Love the Budget Board ladies! No tax, no shipping, $20 off on 2 pair. That'll work!

I got different shoes than my wishlist, but I also didn't spend $100! Kiddo has pink shoes, I have Navy Caymans.

Thanks again, Linda, for your opinion! :thumbsup2

Brandie,

You won't regret it. I am warning you though....they can be addicting. I am almost embarrassed to admit that I own 12 pair....lots of different colors and several sifferent styles. One of the residents at my group home thinks it is hysterically funny and looks every morning to see what color my feet are. On the few occasions that I don't have Crocs on I wear New Balance sneakers. These are her favorite shoes and she gets all excited when we both have on our "N" shoes. Still, the Crocs are my absolute favorites.

I am so excited. We just booked for this Cruise today. The confirmation went to house so when get home get to look up everything and see if we can make any online reservations at this late time or have to wait for boarding. It will just be me and a friend, two adults, no kids. Looking forwarding to seeing you all there.

All of you with snow, just a reminder that with the snow on the ground you are not mowing your lawn. Being in Orlando, we don't get snow, but do have weather crop up on you like thunderstorms and hurricanes. However, April is usually a quiet weather time.

I look forward to meeting you on the cruise.

One month from now Lisa and I will be getting up early from Columbia SC where we will have spent the night before visiting Lisa's Dad. We will drive south to Savannah Ga and get right on the line to have lunch at "The Lady and Son's", Paula Deen's restaurant. After lunch we will roll ourselves back to the car and continue the drive to the Port.

I KNEW you wouldn't be able to resist the allure of the Croc!!!!

I wish I got points for all the people I have converted. When I started wearing mine at work I was the only person wearing them. Now that many of my co-workers have tried mine on they have gone out and bought their own.

I love my Crocs.

Have you bought from shoebuy.com yet? That's where I am getting mine. Right now I'm getting $20 off 2 pair plus a discount for being a member, and no taxes or shipping costs. All 3 pair have already shipped, too. The Budget Board ladies posted a very nice code!

Brandie,

I have not bought from Shoebuy. I tend to get mine in person as there are quite a few places here in Asheville that sell a variety of styles. I am also on a Croc buying hiatus, until I find emerald green ones.....the only color I currently want but can't find. I am not sure Crocs makes them anymore.

Also....Lisa has said no more Crocs....they are taking over the house. LOL

Don't think for a minute by my lack of postings that we are not primed and ready to go. This vacation has been a long time coming. It started in 2005 when I got the bright idea to take the family (then 3 kids) on a cruise. After booking a cat 3 for april 06 we got the wonderful news of another addition to our family. Like clockwork little baby girl arrived almost 30 days early on April 19th 2006. I immediatly went back to planning and now our time is upon us. So it's been a 2 year delay (which meant no disney for us, and we love our disney), so we are sooo ready for this trip.

A few years back, I printed a disney countdown calendar for the kids to mark off the days. This year, I went crazy, and made individual calendars for each kid (including the adult kids). I printed them on our large format plotter and they are 2 feet tall each!!! I did them in MS Word, so if someone wants one, just post me a PM and I'll email you a copy that can be easily edited. Here's what one looks like:

Saw the note about the DIS meet. We'll sure see what we can do to get there.

GREAT CALENDAR Roveer! CAN YOU ALL BELIEVE WE ARE WEEKS AWAY!?!?!?!

Yes it's 2am on Friday morning and I can't sleep!!!! Allergies are just so much fun...not. Just need to keep thinking CRUISE CRUISE CRUISE!!!!

Ok I'm heading to the threads on packing and keeping in mind the "pack and then remove half" rule I've seen so far! We're also going to check with our TA to extend our trip after the cruise by a day or so. This way we can head to SeaWorld. Would love to hit WDW but need my parents with us for that trip! Might look into it for this November or next Feb 08.

Good night sleep tight and SWEET DCL dreams!

Roveer -- Great Calendar.

Also, going to Sea World after the cruise is very easy. Just a short trip across 528 (Beachline) to exit 1 or 2 and you are there. Many hotels in all categories around there. I actually live at exit 2 so see Sea World on way to work daily. Roomate actually works for WDW.

Hope to meet you all on the cruise, first one.

Brandie,

I did not this time around, but I did see it the first time it was aired several months ago. It was wonderfully done and what a complex life she has led.

I was at a conference for the last half of the week run by the Autism Society of North Carolina. It didn't finish until 5 yesterday evening and then I had a 4.5 hour drive home. Needless to say I was exhausted when I got home.

I am SO looking forward to 4 days on the cruise to not have work, chores, cell phone, or anything associated with any of those things.

How many more days?????

Here's what I saw....

[COLOR="Blue"]CELEBRATION, Fla. -- Snow falls in Walt Disney Theatre. Lasers generate sparkling pixie-dust trails. New Disney character performers take a bow. And the deck-party fun ramps up several notches. It’s part of a flurry of onboard fun that will debut this spring on both Disney Cruise Line ships.

One of the most popular, long-running shows on both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, “Disney Dreams,” will display new dazzle as “Disney Dreams . . . An Enchanted Classic” with elaborately enhanced special effects, animation and new scenic elements. As a bonus, two beloved character cast members – Timon and Pumbaa of Disney’s classic film “The Lion King” – make their first-ever appearance on a Disney Cruise Line ship. The revitalized show will debut on the Disney Wonder March 21, 2007, and will be unveiled on the Disney Magic just in time for the ship’s inaugural season in the Mediterranean this May.

At the opulent Walt Disney Theatre, the enhanced “Disney Dreams . . . An Enchanted Classic,” tells the story of a young girl who learns about the power of dreams. New laser effects allow Tinkerbell to “sprinkle” the theater with sparkling pixie-dust trails, and fresh animated video footage brings the show to life like never before. During a scene from the classic film “Beauty and the Beast,” “snow” literally falls upon the audience. When Cinderella takes the stage, special pyrotechnic effects add glitter to her sartorial transformation from rags to ball gown. And Timon and Pumbaa appear for a musical medley of “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” and “Hakuna Matata” from “The Lion King.”

Additional musical numbers during the 55-minute performance include: “You Can Fly!” “A Whole New World,” “Prince Ali,” “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes,” “So This Is Love,” “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea” and “Beauty and the Beast.” (Featured on both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder)

“We’re committed to refreshing onboard entertainment and adding new theatrical surprises for our guests,” says Jim Urry, director of entertainment for Disney Cruise Line. “Fans of our original ‘Disney Dreams’ show will be blown away by the enhancements.”

Also beginning this summer, guests on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will find a greatly enhanced Sail-Away Party, featuring new music, interactive dances and appearances by the world-famous Disney characters on the upper decks. Taking full advantage of the Ariel Vision jumbo screens recently added to both ships, new visual elements are planned for the show and guests attending the party may find themselves dancing on the “big screen.” The party culminates with the sounding of the signature Disney Cruise Line “When You Wish Upon a Star” horn, signaling the official start of the ultimate cruise vacation.

I'm not a part of the CROC nation, I'm afraid...I was at LL Bean and I tried on a pair but they were too big...they didn't have half sizes and tried on the size down and they were too small. Someone posted a way to shrink the too large Crocs to fit... Do you want me to dig it up? I think it was a damp towel with the Crocs, and 5 minutes in the dryer... But I can't remember the heat setting.

I swear by my Crocs....as Brandie and another post on this thread can attest to. They are supposed to be a bit loose, and each of my 12 pairs fits a bit differently. They do take a bit of getting used to. I also do not like anything other than the real thing. I tried on several cheaper brands....as I was NOT paying $29 for plastic shoes....but none were as comfortable as my Crocs.

So, plan on seeing several pairs in different colors on my feet during the cruise. I am not even sure I am bringing other shoes other than dress shoes/sandals for the few dressy outfits that I might need.

Speaking of dressing.....

Anyone else stressing about clothing choice? I think I am leaning towards capris and a nice tropical blouse for dinners in the main dining rooms. I have a nice pantsuit for Palo. That is about a dressy as I am getting! For my dinners in the main dining room I will probably wear properly color coordinated crocs. Think that would be okay? I sure hope so!

See you all SOON!!!!!

Documentation for April 22 Wonder.

Don't believe we've received anything yet from Disney. Exactly what should we expect and should we have it already? Getting so used to a no paper world, I'm starting to wonder why I would even need any paperwork.

Oh, did anyone catch the 6-7 hours of non-stop disney shows on travel channel on Sunday night? It included an hour on DCL that I've seen before, but was a good catch-up just before the trip. Hope that much disney doesn't raise our expectations too much!!!

From what I've seen, the baggage tags and whatever remaining paperwork that you can't fill out online will be sent to you about 10 days prior to the cruise.

I caught the marathon about the time Samantha Brown was ending her Grand Floridian show. After that, I had to contend with friends calling and family needing things. Hubby was pretty interested in the Beach Club special, and then was interested in the Behind the Scenes show.

Although I expect we'll get getting our cruise documents soon :cool1: you CAN go online and register for everything ahead of time. You'll need your cruise# and whatnot. I did it right around the time I paid off the cruise. Pretty easy to do. If you're using Disney transportation, they need the flight info, but if you're not, they don't.

Although they call it 'dress-up' night versus formal night, my DH is bringing his suit and I'm bringing a very nice pantsuit. My DS (4) will have on a tie and my DD (4) will have on a pretty dress...My thoughts are while you probably don't have to wear a suit on dress-up, you KNOW they're taking pictures and it'd be nice to have a new family picture with us all gussied up. Plus, at Palo...especially at night, I believe they prefer the tie/jacket thing.

13 days!!! Whoo hoo!

We got out documents tonite as well.

Now it REALLY feels real. Lisa and I had some friends over for dinner this evening. They saw the packet sitting on the bookcase and were extremely jealous. They did a cruise 2 years ago, not DCL, and didn't really have the best time. They have been very curious about every step of our journey this far and we haven't even set foot on the ship yet.

Less than 2 weeks to go! I just cannot wait!

See you all soon,

I'm going to be on pins and needles until our documents arrive!

DH is getting really excited now. He's still a bit nervous about the whole "Pirate Costume" thing on Pirate night.

Question for you Experience Castaway Cay cruisers.... have you ever rented one of the boats to get up close to Flying Dutchman? Thinking about doing that if weather is nice.

Oh! And I got a better price on our first rental car (from Budget) yesterday, so I'm pretty tickled.

I'm definitely feeling useless at work. :rotfl: I have been doing all the laundry in a vain attempt to feel productive. I'm washing all the new clothes before we wear them... Whoop-tee-doo, eh?

No snow...no docs...but about 60% packed!

My TA got the docs yesterday so hopefully today or Monday. Not that there's a huge rush since I filled out everything already. We're not expecting snow (at least I certainly hope not), but it's only about 53 which isn't nearly warm enough for me.

On the plus side, I'm about 60% packed. There is STUFF EVERYWHERE! Kids are 95% done...I'm about 80% done...DH...his dress clothes/pirate shirt is packed...

Have a nice weekend all!

We are going on the April 22nd cruise as well! This is a Make a Wish trip for my DS - 9. We had our documents and travel itinerary delivered to us by our Wish Granters yesterday! Now, it all seems real.

It will be me, DH, DS-9, DS-9 and all three of the boys grandmas (two regular, one great). When the grandmas found out DS's wish, they all wanted to join us and be a part of it!

Linda, funny that you mention haircuts... Fiona got a haircut this weekend (and poor thing cried throughout the whole traumatic process--she HATES her hair getting washed!!), hubby has to get his mop trimmed, and instead of cutting my hair, I'm going to just use a different shampoo! :rotfl: I give up--my hair has no body or volume! So, it all started yesterday with wacky and wild weather. It rained, got sunny, got REALLY windy, got snowy and then it got DARK.....really really dark. The power went out several times yesterday, including last night just before Amazing Race. It stayed off. As it was pretty cold and Lisa uses a CPAP machine we headed off to a friend's house. We settled in there for the night and then their power went out. Needless to say, sleeping was challenging.....

This morning there were downed trees and power lines everywhere and school was on a 2 hour delay. My autistic teenagers REALLY needed to be back in school. They were off all last week for spring break and anxious to get back to the structure of school. Finally the bus arrived and then the power went out at the group home! It was on and off all day, making work on my computer hazardous.

On my way home my car began making a very ominous sounding noise. Now, this is the car that we had intended on driving to Florida. So, tomorrow I am going to be spending the majority of the day at the Toyota dealership praying HARD that it is not something too expensive. The more expensive, the less pretty fruity drinks I get on board.

So, the haircut waits one more day and hopefully nothing else will go wrong this week. Luckily the power at our house came back on shortly after we got home this evening.

We still do not have cable, but luckily dial-up internet is better than nothing.

Hope everyone who was in the path of this awful storm came through it okay.

See you all in a few days.

YIKES Linda! Hope everyone is okay.

We had SO much rain...and even a little snow (nothing worth talking about), but it finally stopped.

Still 99% packed. Actually about 98.5% now...Kendall (DD) wanted to wear her purple crocs so I unpacked them so she could wear them. It was easier than listening to whining at 6:45 am. :)

Hey...I have a question. I FINALLY got my cruise docs, but it was a pretty light package...I'm assuming because I did everything online they just didn't re-send them to me...right?

I called DCL to verify. They concurred that because I filled out everything online, they sent me the 'basic' package. Now, of course, you have to remember to print everything, but I think I have that covered too!

Heya, Cat! Thanks!

I vote for you NOT to use the magnetic sheets... *argh* I'm on my 3rd try today to get this door thing put together. I print it out on regular paper, then mess up getting it attached to the magnetic sheet. Maybe this time I'll wise up and only attach it on the corners, and leave the backing on everywhere else! :rotfl: I might also make some t-shirts with this design. Depends on how many white t-shirts I feel like sacrificing today. :rotfl2:

Bright sunshine here in Denver. 60-something degrees. Kiddo went off to school in Nemo swim trunks, but I made Daddy take a pair of jeans, just in case. She was pretty garish, with her long sleeve red shirt and Nemo-patterns on her boy shorts. Right now she's into all things "Nemo." Pretty funny for a kid who, since birth, has been a little fashionista. All things had to match or she spit up on them or took them off. Seriously. Thankfully, she seems to be emerging from her "pink" period. I was pretty scared. ;)

Yeah, well, that's it from this side of the Mississippi. Have a great day!

What do you all think?

I'm going to wear skirts/dresses/skorts in the dinner rooms, but that's because I'm treating them like dates... I have heard that you need to dress up a little more than jeans, but I've also heard to just relax and be on vacation, too. If Lisa is worried about dressing right, maybe throw in a couple pair of nice slacks or skirts?

Here's the DCL recommended packing list, which does unfortunately agree that nighttime attire is slacks, not jeans: http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/dcl/en_US/myCruise/landing?name=WhatToPackDetailPage

I've packed some khaki capris along with a black skirt and a nice black dress for Palo/Semi-formal night. I never get to dress up with a 15 month old (you run the risk of snot all over your clothes!).

I understand about the allergy issue. I've taken my son to the doctor twice now (the last time on Tuesday) because of a runny nose. He has assured me that it is allergies but this time he gave me some prescription decongestant/antihistimine/cough medicine just to help with the runny nose. I'm so paranoid because my husband and I both need this vacation. I agree--thank goodness for the new allergy medicines.

Just finished packing! I'll throw the clothes from the closet in our hanging bag in the morning--yeah! Currently charging camera batteries and wishing that DH would come home so I can ask him if he wants to take the tripod. I also need him to watch DS so that I can go get a Mystic Tan. I've heard that fat looks better tanned than it does white. We will see, I guess.

I've also already set aside our prescription medication for our flights. I'm hoping that TSA doesn't make a big deal of benedryl (they shouldn't as I've checked their website about what I can and cannot bring with a toddler)--I'm planning on giving some to DS so that he will sleep on our 3 hour flight.

Mousebrat & LadyShiva - Glad to see there will be folks bringing some tinyl youngsters along. I really debated about whether or not Ben was too young for this kind of trip. But, I think the kids will have a good time even if they are not able to be in "bigger kid clubs".

We are really looking forward to Castaway Cay. Ben loves the water and since he can't swim in the onboard pools, it will probably be our only chance to swim!

mousebrat

DS (Brec) also loves the water. Even though he can't swim onboard I think that he will really enjoy the new water feature for the toddlers. Of course, I think that I will enjoy it as well! I can't wait to see his face when he sees Mickey for the first time. He loves Chuck E. Cheese so I don't think we will have any issues.

I've packed his speed boat float for him to sit on at Castaway Cay along with a basket of beach toys to build sand castles and such. I just hope he doesn't swallow the salt water. He loves to guzzle the water in the bath tub.

It was fun to meet all of you on the cruise. Throughout the cruise I chatted with Brandie and Carolyn several times and waved at Christina at Tritons during breakfast. For those of you that I didn't see, how was your cruise??

Lisa and I had a fabulous time, truly one of the best vacations that we have ever had. We had only one disappointment however, we were not able to do the Dolphin Encounter. When the itinerary changed, brunch was changed as well. By the time we got back from brunch to find the messages and the note about the shore excursions and called guest services to re-schedule the time they were already full. Oh well...there WILL be another cruise.

We were able to shop way too much in Nassau and found a diamond ring to match the one that Lisa gave me, so it all worked out extremely well.

We totally enjoyed both our dinner and brunch at Palo, our verandah, many many fruity drinks, the quiet peace of the beach at Serenity Bay, our wonderful servers and the service in general, napping, reading, meeting our dining table mates and trying to converse with 2 of them in a mix of Japanese, English, "sign language" and other funny faces and gestures....in short just about everything connected with the cruise experience in general. The only thing we definitely did NOT enjoy was getting off the ship this morning. I actually got all teary eyed.

Let's keep in touch,

Linda

I agree, it was nice meeting everyone!!!

Did everyone get home without problems? Fiona did better on this plane ride than the last one, so that was a relief.

We had a nice day to relax at AKL before getting on the plane the next day. The weird part was all the screaming people at AKL. Lotsa unhappy people (kiddo and parents). Very strange.

Oooh, oh, oh! The ickiest thing happened at Boma that night... Someone POOPED in the waiting area in plain sight of all the people in that lobby and NO ONE did anything!!!! I found out in the bathroom while washing my hands when a very IRATE mom came in with a dirty shoe and foot! She had slipped in the poo! :scared1: I walked up to the receptionist and let her know, and she had a horrified look on her face! Can you BELIEVE THAT???

LadyShiva,

We too decided to stay at AKL and for some reason it was a complete zoo (yes, pun intended). We checked in early on Thursday around 10:00am and that is when the trouble started. We noticed that our room seemed very small (queen + bunk). Later in the day I went down to the desk and asked if we were in fact in the right room. I had originally booked Concierge, Savanna view Deluxe (didn't want concierge, but that was all that was available when I booked, so I took it). What we got was a standard room and buried deep in their computer was a note saying that were were "downgraded". We were never told when we checked in, and the rate was not changed either!!! Well, they did some quick fumbling around and lowered our rate and apolojized, but that wasn't going to work for us. We are a family of 6 so trying to make it in such a small room would have really ended badly.

Up to the 6th floor concierge desk and 15 minutes with the lady sitting at the desk was getting me nowhere. I asked to be heard by the next in line which was the manager. 15 more minutes and we were offered joining rooms overlooking the pool. Again, no good for us, as I would have been putting 2 kids in a seperate room (yes joined by a door), but the kids are 6 and 8. And I didn't go to AKL to look at the pool. Another 15 minutes and I asked to speak with the next in charge. Then came the duty manager. Another 15 minutes and we finally got upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite overlooking one of the savanna's. 2 bedrooms, kitchen, family room 2 1/2 baths. Yup, that was the perfect way to end the vacation!!! I looked it up on-line and that room goes for 1,500.00 per night. They simply didn't have any other rooms, or even a one bedroom suite so they had to concede.

I hate (repeat hate) having to make a stink about these types of things, but in 5 years of going to disney, and this year doing the cruise we spent a lot of money with WDC and I wasn't going to let them downgrade us in any way. It was also a good lesson for my 8 yo daughter in what I called "playing hardball". We played hardball on the beach in Nassau when they wanted 30 dollars for 2 chairs and an umbrella. We settled at 20, but not after a brief "no thanks" and walking away. Life lessions on vacation.

I have so much to say about our cruise, I'll try and compose a post sometime this week with pictures of the Walt Suite which was, well, yup, everything I hoped it to be...

Regards,

Roveer

Heya, Roveer!

Wow! That is crazy! I'm glad you got the suite at AKL! Did you book online at Disney, and got downgraded?

Yup, booked on-line at the Disney website. They had all of our contact info, they could have called us at any time. Even verified with a Disney person prior to leaving and never a peep of a problem. It all worked out, but it took a lot of persuading on my part. When I apolojized to the Duty manager for having to make a stink, he said, that I was not a problem at all. He said, that he was able to crack a joke with me in the middle of our discussion. He used to work at the Grand Floridian where people are not as nice when things go wrong.

AKL is always booked and I'm struggleing to understand why... Nothing like sitting on your balcony with the smell of, well animal poop wafting through the air. Kids didn't really seem that interested in the animals anyway, and on Saturday we ended up going back to the MK (bus of course), and I hate having to fold up the double stroller. We are a monorail family, have been for 5 years, just guess we confirmed that with AKL. I guess someday that will change, but for now, I enjoy all of disney through my kids eyes.

Roveer

Heya, all!

So the in-laws have descended on my house... They'll be here until Thursday morning. Wish me luck!

Oh, and -that's- the reason I can't write the rest of my report... really! That and the fact that I only have left "...and then we got off the ship..." :sad1:

Beautiful day here in Denver, by the way. High in the 60's.

Hey, Roveer, are you going to make a trip report? I'd love to see the pictures of the cabin and the AKL rooms.

Talk to you guys later!
