How Many Trips Did You Take in 2006?

Hi, just wondering how many of you are like me and go to disney alot. Please include trips to WDW and DVC. So that would include trips to VB and HHI. And that would also include cash trips to any WDW resort and of course all DVC points trips to the world. :woohoo:

Three, which is generally our "norm"-one to OKW, one to HHI, and one solo trip. We've already got our dates for those planned for next year (although I've sometimes managed to sneak in another solo trip at the last minute).

First year in and annual passes pushed us over the top. I don't usually anticipate that many...ahh - who'm I kidding!

We took three. Ten days in January, 5 in March, and 10 in December. Now it will be 11 months before our next trip!

Three, two to WDW and one to HH. DD13 and I went for her spring break, DD13 and DD18, along with two friends, and I went for a week in August, and DD13, DD18 and a friend, and I went to HH for five nights in July.

This year we are only going once, for 2 weeks this summer. But I am feeling the need for a solo trip this year, so we shall see!!!

We only took one trip in Oct. My kids are in elementry school and we pull them out for a trip every year in the fall or winter. In the summer we usually go to Myrtle Beach or the outer banks. Once we did Aruba. I just can't stand the heat in Flordia in the summer or the thought of huge crowds-maybe one, but not both! This summer we are going to Maine and Myrtle Beach. My sons start football in early August, so we have to go between mid June and early Aug for any summer vacation.

I'd love to go to WDW more than 1 time a year though! :love:

Another caveat, we actually leave for our fourth trip early tomorrow morning. It will be our inagural stay at the GF! :santa:

But it was a good one - disney wedding and honeymoon in October 2006.

Wedding at the wedding pavilion and stayed at the Wilderness Lodge.
Working on closing 100pts SSR contract so we can go back more often!

We went twice. I wish we didn't cancel our September trip (we postponed it to January '07). But now I'm pregnant and can't travel. So we missed out.

Me and DW did spend one afternoon and night in Orlando (Hampton Inn in LBV ) courtesy of a business trip; We were able to squeeze in Epcot, MK and Wishes, courtesy of our CM niece :thumbsup2 ; Somehow I just can’t bring myself to count one night as a trip.

Oh well, we were lucky to take 2 in 2005

6 this year..but that is not the norm...2 is usually it for me. I have to add, that 3 trips were with friends and/or DD's and not with DH. And one trip was just two days in the parks before our DCL cruise.

2006 will be one week in January and a day or two in April before our Magic cruise.

Four trips for me -- not all members of family on every trip. Didn't count leaving MCO on 1/1/06 (definitely not a park day), Feb birthday trip with a friend, Feb vac at Windsor Palms, July trip BWV, October for F & W BCV.

All these trips are with a 12 hour drive each way to WDW - including the weekend trips where we left friday evening and returned sunday night

Actually, had two originally scheduled, but, some family medical problems forced us to postpone our May trip. 2005 was a great year.....three trips.
As long as everyone remains healthy we hope to make three again in 2007.

Three trips this year - our top number ever!

One for 10 days last winter at BCV with newbies that we ushered around.
One for 10 days at AKL for our 20th anniversary.
One for 5 days at YC over Thanksgiving.

APs, DVC membership, and DDE card all got a very nice workout.


But, now, we're not back until December 07 ... :sad2:

None! Which was a bit of a shocker...took me a while to figure out it was none. I didn't stay over New Year's last year so that's out. I wound up going to Gatlinburg instead of Hilton Head so that one was out. The one trip I've had to Orlando so far this year was to Universal and not WDW except for a trip to the DTD-Rainforest Cafe and Virgin Records. Maybe that counts as one?

So far it looks like I'll be checking in on December 31st so that'll be my official one. Weird!

We went twice in 2006. In May, prior to our DCL cruise to the western Caribbean and in October for the F&W Festival and MNSSHP with our college aged DD who has never been to either of those.

Living in Florida gives us a unique opportunity to visit WDW whenever we desire. We'll be making at least out 10th trip of the year next week. With the temperatures reaching the mid 70's, looks like the SSR pool will be perfect for the kids...Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all!!

We took two trips in 2006, we typically only take one but bought at BCV in April and took an extra trip to enjoy DVC. We generally only take one trip per year and with 210 points that is all we really can do since my wife spends the 2nd week of her vacation with 17 members of her extended family staring at Lake George in a small 3 bedroom shack. Just too crowded for me.

We normally go four times a year for 5 days a trip. Flower festival, Labor day for the empty park, F&W festival and MNSSHP and the first week in December for the MVMCP and the Candlelight Processional.

We're in California and are DLR APs, so we get there ALOT more often than WDW or DVC. Besides, we just bought into DVC on our last DCL cruise and the points weren't activated til 12/1/06.

My wife ran the 1/2 Marathon in January, and we took a family trip back in October.

I am going again at the end of January with a few buds for a golf week (of course a day or two of Disney as well). So almost three within a year - the most yet for us!!! DVC has worked very well :)

Hi all. We went once in 2006 but will be going twice in 2007. With DVC, annual passes, DDE and Cheap airfare who needs to paint the family room it will still be peach when we get home but I'll be a whole lot happier!! :yay:

Two for us. A 10 day this past June and we just got back from a 10 day, December 3-13. We have one in May of 2007 booked now also, for 7 days, so actually we will have done 3 trips within a year. We love and can't wait till May to go again.

I was there for a DCL cruise 12/24-12/31, then to WDW 12/31-1/2, BACK TO WDW 3/30 - 4/2 TO watch DD's band play in EPCOT, back in June for a week for 1st trip home to DVC resort bought on Xmas cruise, back in August for a scrapbooking convention at the Yacht Club, back in October for F&W Festival and MNSSHP. We're headed there Friday for MVMCP and some Xmas Disney fun before our 12/26 cruise and then back on 12/30 for a night before we head home.
