I'm going to be making my first stay at "home" this upcoming October. My MIL informed me yesterday that she probably will not be up to all the walking on the trip (both knees replaced in the last year). Can we reserve a wheelchair at SSR or is there a place we can order one from? Thanks.

I know you can request one when you arrive, but not sure about advanced reservations. You might check on the DisABILITIES board.

You can rent one from an outside agency or you can wait until you get there to see if the resort has one available for free. There is no guarantee there will be one available when you check in.

You can't reserve one ahead of time from the resorts; they may or may not have one.
There is information about places to get wheelchairs (parks, resorts and off-site rental places) in the disABILITIES FAQs thread near the top of the disABILITIES Board.
