If you have a Superstore, apparently they have Barbies on sale this week.

www.frugalshopper.ca and go to discussion board, they have a place they gives you a heads up on all the ads for the week.

Toys R Us Barbies are a bit more expensive than Walmart. At Walmart you can get the most current (12 Dancing Princesses) dolls for about $15. They are lovely dolls (except for Genevieve, the main doll, that costs more). There are also My Scene Barbies that are under $15 (they aren't your typical Barbies ... a bit different). Then there are the "plain Jane" Barbies dressed in Ballet dresses that are b/w $5.00 and $8.00. Depends what you want. My girls are all about the 12 Dancing Princesses this year, so we have been buying them throughout the sales in the last little bit. Toys R Us doesn't have any Barbies on sale in their current flyer.

Hope that helps ...

I find Toys R Us the most expensive. Try Zellers, Walmart, or even Loblaws (No Frills, Zehrs, Independent Grocer).

It says in the OP that you are in Southern Ontario. Are you near Missisauga? If so inbetween Mavis and Hurontario off of Burnamthorpe is the Mattel/ Fisher Price factory store and you can get Barbies and Brats and a whole slew of toys for very very very little. Its worth the trip the hours are a bit weird but they are open Saturdays.
