We're arriving at MCO around 5pm after an extremely long flight (18hrs) and are wondering what to do for dinner on our first night. It'll be dinner then a long sleep. Does anyone know if Spoodles Pizza Window takes CS credits and how many would you need?

The Spoodles Pizza Window does indeed take CS credits. There was some confusion about how many credits get you what, but that was cleared up back in September:Just thought I would post my experience with the pizza window at Spoodles on the Boardwalk.
We arrived late Sunday night August 27 and checked in to the BWV around 9:30. Kids wanted to swim first thing and after we headed out to the Boardwalk for some pizza. It was 10:30 pm. I went to the pizza window and really just wanting the whole pizza. I asked where it would "fall" under the Dining plan. The CM explained that for a whole pizza it would take up 6 CS credits because there are 6 slices of pizza ( LARGE slices , I might add). I didn't mind using the 6 cs credits at that time . ( there were 5 of us...3 children) Then she went on to say I would also get the 6 desserts ( which I had forgotton about. ) They were 6 large brownies from the BW bakery packaged "to go " for us in separate boxes. Then came the drinks. I didn't need 6 sodas at 10:45 at night so she suggested she could just give us 6 bottles of water to use in the parks the next day !
Overall ...it was a great use of 6 cs credits in my opinion.
Just thought I'd share because I knew there were questions about the pizza window as I was trying to do some research before our trip!
Enjoy!

So basically, it is 1CS credit per slice.

You might want to reconsider. Pizza in WDW is not very good. I would opt for something else

My understanding is that the pizza at Spoodles' Pizza Window is very good. I do agree that pizza elsewhere, like at the CS joints, is pretty bad.

Whether the pizza is any good or not, you need to look elsewhere. We were at WDW the week before last, dining on the plan. Spoodles Pizza Window did not accept any dining credits. We were at the BW for lunch on our day of arrival. My son really wanted some pizza. He sat and watched us eat sandwiches from the Boardwalk Bakery while we waited for the Pizza Window to open. When it did I asked what dining credits they accepted for me to get a slice of pizza, and they stated that they did not accept the plan.
To be honest, pizza wasn't that easy to find on the plan. Roarking Forkes at the WL has individual pizzas, although the frozen kind that really could only keep a 5 yo happy.

first off are you staying at the BW or on the epcot side....
If so, I would definitely eat at Beaches & Cream at Y&B club...
have burgers friies, etc..
don't get sucked into ESPN...(food not good)
and trust me Spoodles pizza is really horrible.....I guess I am a little bit more picky because I am from East coast where pizza is normally better than rest but it is just downright awful looking..
there is no way that the cheese they use is real mozzeralla cheese..
trust me... with kids...do B&C...you will be very happy
and if you can't wait for a table and you are on BW side or BC side, you can walk right into Epcot and get a snack there..
