Not sure if this is where I post this question, but there are 5 of us going to Universal for 4 nights in March. We're looking for an offsite hotel with a suite, so we won't have to get 2 rooms, but something not too expensive. Any suggestions/comments/advice is greatly appreciated! :)

There is a Homewood Suites by Universal that is rated #1 in popularity at WWW.TRIPADVISOR.COM
I booked the Homewood Suites for a trip at the end of March and the rates I believe were $159.00. I'm sorry I can't remember the exact number, I booked it so long ago, my brain can't remember!

We don't generally stay in the Universal area, so I cannot help you there. However, I just wanted to remind you to check out the hotel reviews right at the top of the board. :)

Hi! We stayed at the homewood suites in june of this year and it was very nice. They have a HOT breakfast in the mornings. Scrambled eggs, sausage , bacon, biscuits, make your own waffles. It was yummy! Also, they have a managers reception in the evenings, which i though was excellent! Free beer and wine. Plus they feed you again!lol They had tacos one night and sheperds pie the other night we were there. They also had soda for the kids.
The rooms were very big. It had a nice little kitchen area,a living room with a chair, couch, table, entertainemnt center with tv and a desk. The bedroom had french doors on it and two queen size beds.
We ended up getting the two nights for free with my hilton honors points i earned on erewards.com But, i would deffinitely go back there and pay for it!lol
hth!
