Is it something you take your time over or a rush job? :teeth:

I love it, it's all part of the fun of Christmas for me. :Pinkbounc

I try to have the majority wrapped before the end of November, then it's just a few little odds and ends to wrap afterwards.

Im going to be really honest here and say No, the sooner its done the better. I do admire people who take their time and add pretty ribbons and bows all over them. :goodvibes

Nope. It's about as interesting as watching an episode of Pokemon.

Anyway, its like the art of Christmas / Birthday card writing - that's why men get married so that the women can do it. ;)

My Dh and I have a great arrangement! I shop, he wraps! This works perfectly for me, I have very little patience and I become a complete mad woman after wrapping 3 or four gifts and it ain't pretty!!!!! :Pinkbounc

My Dh and I have a great arrangement! I shop, he wraps!

I think I might suggest this to DH!

I hate it and I keep saying that I should get started now but I'm sure it will still be Christmas Eve when I HAVE to do it.

I never cut the paper the right size and as for the sellotape - it goes everywhere

not really, I get DBF to do it, he is a bit OCD and a perfectionist, the complete opposite of me.

I love it. I save all types packaging boxes this time of year to diguise everyones presents. As my DD's shake and feel everything that goes under the tree it means no matter how hard they try they can't guess what's inside and they are easier to wrap

I love it!

I love to make them all christmassy but it's wasted on Gavin so I save my energy and buy paper with a pattern and just do the fancy stuff for my SS on here and at work

Love it, I put a Christmas movie on and get to it, this year I watched the Santa Clause! Everything is wrapped here except one which I need to finish making. I made a huge effort with it all this year, they're all in matching gold shiny paper with red ribbons tied on them in bows and each has a handmade gift tag on it (they took enough time by themselves!) It took ages but the tree corner of the room looks spectacular!

I'm a perfectionist so it's a bitter-sweet thing for me. I would enjoy it better if it didn't take up every night of the week leading up to Christmas!

I love it, I prefer giving to receiving so I make a real effort with my pressies

When I was younger I was rubbish at wrapping presents. I used to spend ages choosing the present for someone. Then I would wrap it and I was always mortified with the results. About two years ago something clicked and I actually became quite good at wrapping stuff. I need to be in the right mood though :)

Had to say no :guilty: I want to like it as its Christmassy and you're doing it for the people you love, but my presents always end up as a rush job, and I never buy the little extras like ribbon and bows so they don't look as pretty as they could...aaahhh I just get frustrated and stuck to the sticky tape!

Sometimes for me. It's nice when we all come down and do the ones we got for each other (except for when your pressie comes up; you have to leave the room.. :( ). Although, I really suck at it so I just get DB (this year DBGF) to do it for me.. :lmao:

We used to watch a christmas movie while doing it until it became unproductive.. :rotfl2:

I LOVE wrapping presents! I keep telling Simon I'm going to volunteer at our local book shop, who have a gift wrapping service for a small donation. I'd do it all day, for free if necessary.

I've already wrapped all the gifts for Simon's family and I'll start my family later this week. Christmas music, a 'holiday warmer', some smelly pine candles burning and a load of gifts to wrap; my idea of Seasonal Heaven. :cloud9:

Simon, on the other hand, hates wrapping gifts. More for me, I say! :teeth:
