Geting Reservations the last week after Thanksgiving at BWV?

Hi all you DVC planning experts. We returned from a wonderful BWV stay in October. We were hoping to go back the last week of Nov. Is that week a hard week to get reservations for if it is not your home resort? Thanks for all your input.

If its Thankgiving week and can be very tough. Its a busy time at WDW with the Thankgiving Holiday and all the Xmas stuff going on. After Thankgiving and the first two weeks of December is a little quiter. Then is ramps up again for Christmas and New Years............If your planning on going next year at this time you are doing the right thing by planning now.

We go the week after Thanksgiving every year. It used to be easy to get that week at the 7 month mark. It has been getting more difficult. This year we had to waitlist for the BCV, but it came through.

I suspect, that as more and more memberships are sold, it will get harder and harder to get popular times like this at the 7 month mark.

Yes, WDW in general is slow the week after Thanksgiving, but this is generally a very busy time for DVC. DVC members know more than your average Disney guest, and the combination of low points, low crowds, great weather, and all the WDW Holiday festivities make it a very busy time for DVC.
