Another AP Question...... Sorry

Ok My PAP expired at the end of August '06. I did some searching and didn't find conclusive evidence to my question, so here it goes.....

Can I renew my AP? If so it appears they will reactivate it back to my Expiration date correct?

Are there significant costs differences between renewing and repurchasing a new PAP with the DVC discount?

It would be renewed retro...so you'd be losing several months of use. I believe the renewal discount saves about $30, so if it were me, I'd just get a new AP based on your next visit.

My understanding is that you have to renew within 30 days of the expiration.

Since it's now December, I'd just plan to buy a new PAP to get a full year's worth of trips out of it.

A PAP (adult) renewal with DVC discount is $426.00, including tax. A new PAP (adult) is $462.21, including tax. IMHO, the extra 3 - 4 months you'd get by just buying new is worth the $36.21 "extra" cost.
