Just want to thank you, Dana, for all the work you put into the weekly photo contests here on the Photography board.

In the long time past, while doing a stint as a moderator on the community board, I use to do a weekly thread on states in the country. I also did links to the thread on all (maybe 20 at the time) the other boards. So I do know the work involved in always being there because others are waiting and sort of expecting it. For you here with this ongoing idea, you have a lot of creativity in topics, lots of polls and links to make, uploading, copying, labeling photos, keeping links and all straight, even though they can be confusing to set up at times.

So, again, Dana, thanks for all your work and enthusiasm you put into these weekly contests. :thumbsup2 And along the way, we all have seen some pretty stunning works of photography by so many participants. :woohoo:

I've had so much fun looking at all the pictures, finding some of my own to post, voting for the "best"......one of mine even made it to the final poll one week!

I agree, Thank you for doing this every week. I vote every week and once in awhile I submit pictures. I love looking at everyones pictures and learning how to take them. I hope you continue to do this next year. :goodvibes

great thread Dan M ! yes, even though i have only a handful of disney photos so rarely enter i love looking at the contests and voting for my fav( which is difficult usually since they are all so nice)! and i can only imagine how hard it must be to get it all ready.

All I can say is WOW!! :blush: I have not had any computer access since last week, and just got Bellsouth out here this morning to fix my modem. I had been stressing seriously about the fact that I was so far behind, and that everyoen was probably wondering what in the world was going on. It was wonderful to see the thread started by Dan and all of the comments that everyone had to say. You guys are so welcome, and I truly do have a lot of fun doing this contest. Alright, now I am off to catch up and post the polls since I am running so late. :moped:
