last night, did anyone see it? I had to give in to sleep near the end and missed the final part. What was the evidence that stated the guy they arrested in Bangkok was not the killer? Was it just because he had an 'alibi'? or was there more to it? I saw up to the bit where the investigating officers said they'd interviewed him a lot and his story didn't change and that they were convinced they'd caught the right man.

I Sky+ it Carol ~ I was too tired and knew I would never stay awake till the end.

I won't be watching it till the weekend, so if no one posts the ending, I can certainly let you know.

I saw some of it last night, and basically his DNA didn't match

Thanks Mandy, it did seem odd though that he knew exact details about the murder when a lot of what happened was reported incorrectly. So they are still saying the DNA on site didn't match the family either? It seems such a terrible crime that it is still unsolved.

The programme ended with a hint that they still believe he had something to do with it, and the police are waiting for another guy to be extradited back to the US

Yes, they believe that it was quite probably a friend of his... He seemed to know too many details and their was some likelihood that he was involved with the "ransom" letter... so he could well have either been at the scene or told all about it.

Very sad and sick.

Yes, very sad and very sick BUT if he leads police to the true killer then JonBenets mother can finally rest in peace

It is just frightening that they have got away with it for so long (and that the Ramsey family was persecuted for the murder int he first place... the programme highlighted the injustices of "trial by media").

I saw it, thought it was very sad.

Carol, the man they they are waiting for to come back to the USA is already accused of raping and killing another child and he just happened to have grown up opposite the one from Bangkok which is a bit suspicious!
