Sorry, I object to the "Happy Holidays". It is the Christmas season and should say so. If they ( DIS board ) what to cover all the bases they should list all the up coming holidays ( sorry can't spell any of the others ). Happy Holidays has been linked to a direct attack on the Christmas Holiday and the attempt to remove the true "Reason for the Season". I sure hope this is not DISboards intent, to be PC. Just my opinion.

I see nothing wrong with a general Holiday Greeting. There are people here of many religions, and none. I think the site looks great.

ETA . . . It's going to be REALLY weird when it changes back to normal after Christmas. It'll probably look really "dead" like when everyone on my street takes down all the lights in January. :guilty:

I don't understand how saying "Happy Holidays" is considered a "direct attack". I'm a 40 yr. old Catholic, and I've heard "Happy Holidays" all my life. I just thought that meant "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It was NEVER an issue. Today , of course it could pertain to other "celebrations" at this time of the year..........BIG DEAL..........We could be saying A LOT worse to one another!! :rotfl:

CNN did a segment on Holiday family travel, featuring a family who went to Disney World. At the end of the segment, the reporter said that during the Christmas season, WDW hotels are COMPLETELY booked!
