How do you guys handle liquid meds now w/new airline rules? I have liquid steroids in individual plastic containers that do not need to be refrigerated but can not get too cold or too hot so would worry about it being in checked luggage. How would something like this be handled for carry on luggage? Thanks for any guidance.

We flew out of Newark Liberty on Thanksgiving with liquid meds for my son. They did need to stay cold and were in a soft cooler. The labels were on the bottles and we had no problem. We did tell the security officer that we had liquid medicine in the cooler as soon as we got to the machine. She opened the cooler and looked in and then sent the cooler thru the x-ray and we were thru.

Just make sure that you have the Rx label on the medicine and you'll be fine.
If its not on the bottle make sure to have a label w/ you.
I believe you are suppose to tell the TSA screeners when you get up to them.
I had liquid nose and eye drops for our trip in oct.
They barely looked at the liquid stuff I told them were prescriptions.

the last time I tried to open the Transportation Security Administration website, it kept crashing my server, but they do have a page about medication. The page mentions all the rules and specifically mentions liquid medications (basically the things that were already posted as answers on this thread).
The website is www.tsa.gov
