I did a search to try and get the official wording on the 800 number and got this, Apparently it is a DIS decision not a DVC one but as Cheryl points out our dues pay for that number. Either way that is why it was starred out and when that happens it is against board guidelines to go around the filter. Thanks for editing so quickly Kay.
This is from tech support on another post:
Note: Edited by Tech Support. The MS 800 number is not to be posted since it's a members' only number and the DISboards has elected not to make that number public on these forums. Phone number removed even though it was not MS's number, because the one digit transposition is easily reversed to see the MS number.

This is Nancy. Finally found some time to sit down and tell everyone that I really enjoyed the cruise. By the second time we knew what we wanted to do & didn't waste time finding our way around. It was especially helpful knowing some people already from this message board......Mary & Mark, thanks for arranging the meets & the pins. Joanne & Roger, we had a good time with you guys at CC & watching the Sox. Kay, thanks for the little gifts even though we didn't do FE. To our dinner buddies (Socks & Co.) we enjoyed your company. And to everyone else we spent time with - it was great getting to know you..... Now that I've read some of the posts I have to say I agree about the gifts. We still have a pile in the corner of a room & we need to decide what to do with them. I have a feeling some of them will end up in a box in the attic!
When I compared the cost of a members cruise to a regular one, I found that the former is a lot more expensive. I suppose it's the tips & extra food on CC & the extra entertainment. But we could do a 7 day for just a little more than the 2008 members cruise. Hmmmm.

A little more background. People (non-DVC) who made trades on the Rent Trade board were calling on the 800 number trying to get information about thier trades, make request for specific room, change names on reservations, complain about bad deals, etc. Some got really difficult with the CMs. That is one of the reasons we no longer allow the number to be shown. It is for members only.

Nancy - nice to see you posting. You are right you can do a regular 7 day for not too much more than a member cruise. The reason we love doing them are the guests. Just not something you get on a regular cruise.
Art Linkletter (2005), Roy Disney (2006) and Richard Sherman (2007) each meant so very much to me. Truly exceptional experiences I wouldn't have on a regular cruise.
Of course you, and everyone else, has to do what is right for them.

Morning all,
It's nice to know I am not the only one that wasn't thrilled. I just think if they charge more for this cruise it should be special. Different menu's would be nice. Since most of us are repeat cruisers the same thing gets old.
Did any one get the wine glasses from Palo? I didn't think that was fair to give them to the ones that had dinner in Palos? We got two they are very nice but every one should have gotten them.
I can't wait to see everyones pictures!!!
HI everyone, sorry it's been a while since I've posted. I had eye surgery(custom lasik aka PRK) done on Wed and I am just now getting to see well enough to read up on all that I have missed. The words are still a bit fuzzy but I can make out most of what is here.
DH and I did attend dinner the last night and we did get the wine glasses which I thought were really cool.

So, since I have to make a business trip this Saturday to California for Sunday to Tuesday, I asked my co-worker if she would be interested in trying to snag tickets for Wicked Saturday night instead of going to DL. I told her I thought the chances would be pretty unlikely that we could get tickets. She said sure.
So I went to the website, checked it out and bought
2 TICKETS FOR WICKED THIS SATURDAY NIGHT!
I'm so excited to see it since we saw Eden on the ship and I caught a glimpse of the show from Ugly Betty last week.
Who woulda thought..................................:cool1:

well - now - AREN'T WE A SPECIAL ONE !!!!!!!!
Good for you, my friend. And I saw Ugly Betty also with some of the parts. I thought that was so strange that it aired after our cruise.
Hope you have very good seats. Try and control yourself :3dglasses

Some great points Linda. The only thing I could answer of your questions is this:
The Steamboat Willie Mickey is what is on the bow of the Wonder. That's the tie-in since we were on the Wonder.
:lmao: OMGosh, and I put Donald on that trivia thing we handed in. Obviously wasn't reading properly because he is on the stern. :lmao:

You can remember by thinking "Micker Sorcerer is Magic". That way I never forget. Does that make sense???

Yeah, I did the same thing first too and someone corrected me. They probably drew your card and then had to draw someone else's :lmao:
I never win those things!
Funny thing......when I got off at Castaway Cay the first time I was standing next to the ship talking to Captain John and I asked him and he didn't know! Said when we pulled in Thursday we would be able to see since he was pulling in forward. I thought that was funny, that he didn't know.

Did I mention that we got to see the control room of the Expedition Everest ride last week?
We were trying to deceide whether or not to get in the single rider line, when a nice CM, Matt took us through the fast pass line, rode the ride with us and then took us into the cotrol room. We met the CM who mans it (can't remember his name) and he told us how the ride works. The Yeti was on plan b. He said he hurt his back getting out of bed. That means they only light up the Yeti and he doesn't move during the ride. I was so shocked, I forgot to take any pictures. It was awesome.

Are we going to use this board for the 2008 Cruise or will somebody start a new one? Nanc and I haven't tried Everest yet. I know she won't go but I might.
We are still talking about the 2007 cruise and are waiting for the17th to start calling for 2008.

Hi Everyone,
We have been home since the day after the cruise, but really busy.Work hectic for me (Ashley) and Karen is on jury service.
We had an eventful flight,we were bumped off the direct flight to London and had to go via Atlanta instead.
Gary (son) who had stayed at WDW during the cruise was flying via Atlanta anyway so it didnt make a lot of difference to us.He was sure surprised to see us in Atlanta.Anyway we were given $200 each compensation and an upgrade to WOrld travellor Plus(More legroom bigger seats half way to business class).Only arrived one hour later in London than original flight so no hardship. However Karens bag was missing, after reporting it missing we started our car journey home, and on the way home we got a text message our bag had been found at the airport and we had it delivered two hours after we got home so no problem.

So now our comments on the cruise our first members Cruise.Overall we thought it was great. As we had been on three Disney Cruises before we didnt find things rushed as we knew where we wanted to be and when and what we wanted to do.To us it also seemed longer than four days which was great,we loved two days at CC.Our only problem was the last evening packing.
We really enjoyed the Legends talks, and the entertainment all four nights. To hear anecdotes about Mary Poppins and the Jungle book by R SHerman was very interesting and also the talk by Marty SKlar. The comedy by the Cruise entertainment staff late on the last night in the bar (I forget the name )was a blast for anyone who saw it.(Not suitable for children)
Only thing that didnt impress was legends ball which was a mess and we didnt get to see anything.
Overall brilliant .Wewont be doing 2008,as cant do September ,but will be back at WDW in October 2008

One other thing we forgot to mention, when we got back to our stateroom after CC on the last night, there was an invitation to a Cocktail Party in the Walt Suite. So we finally got to see the Suite and were treated like royalty by the staff there.Apparantly 36 people were invited, and their names picked at random form the DVC draw.
Anyway it was a nice touch on the last night.
MAny memories
Still not fully unpacked
Look forward to meeting our old and new friends again when we are back in Florida.Cold and wet in London today

It takes probably about 2 months or so.
My sister had to make a phone call to get her number, when she was about to take her 2nd cruise.
They are very nice when you call to get it, as it is on file right away.

HI Mark
Dan here. Those are great pictures. Are you putting together a collection of pictures you took or pictures that are sent to you from people on the Cruise?
If so I can E-Mail some to you and Mary of the Cruise and pictures on Castaway.
Mary I see Nanc did some posting today I just noticed it on the board. We will get her broken in so she will do more.
Belive it or not we were planning and trying to decide what deck we wanted for next year.
Hope you guys had a great weekend.

Good morning everyone! Dan most of the pictures we are using are our own. Mark likes to do a kind of digital scrapbook up on the website (and I'll eventurally get around to the traditional paper version). :) If you have some pictures you want to send by all means do. Can't promise we'll use them all online but we love to see things from others perspectives too.
Have a great day everyone! 5 days until call in day for the 2008 cruise!

Giving this a bump up to say we finally finished the digital scrapbook and scan of the Member Picture. Click here (http://monorailgreen.info/member2007/index.htm) if you would like to see the scrapbook. Click here (http://monorailgreen.info/member2007/day5.htm) if you want to see a scan of the group picture broken into 4 chunks so you can zoom in and find yourself. We're in frame #2.
Reading it all last night brought back some great memories!
