Does that stuff ever go on sale? I got a ton of Aeropostale at 50% on Thanksgiving online... Do Hollister and Abercrombie ever go on sale?

Lin Lin

I have one shirt from A&F, and it was on Clearance for 20$. I would rarely pay more than 20$ for a shirt not on clearance. This was like a one time thing because

a) this shirt was cheap
and
b) it was cute, and matched a skirt that i have that i was having a hard time find a shirt for it.

I haven't bought anything from Hollister, because I don't have the patience to wander around in the dark, just grabbing clothes hoping I grab something that's cute and my size. Plus the music's wayyy too loud.

Most of My closet comes from American eagle, Old navy, Aeropostale, Forever 21, and Kohls. I'm most deff. a bargain shopper. =]]

I don't know why but when you wear populer clothes at school people call you preps

ME TOO!! HAHA. My friend and me are HUGE preps... people call us...but no if you actually knew us we're not!! It's sad how I can go to school with a mini skirt, leggings, and an American Eagle polo and I'm a prep...

Gosh. I love Abercrombie and Fitch! I'm actually DISing while wearing sweats from there. I love that place. My ex-best friend got me addicted to that place. Yeah, it is expensive, but you won't see me in a mall every day. It's fun to look around in there and see what they have to offer. (I end up trying stuff on or buying anyway :guilty: .)

I'm not uber rich, so of course I shop at your average, everyday stores. I absolutely love Khols, and I've recently become interested in Joyce Leslie.

As for Hollister, American Eagle, and Aeropostale. .

Hollister. I'll never go in there.

American Eagle, nice clothes, but I usually don't like what they have.

Aero . . Gosh. I hate that place.

I'm a prep.
Anyways, I love AE. Most of my wardrobe is AE. I don't shop their much, but most everyday I wear something from there. It's rare that I don't.

We don't have A&F or Hollister where I live. I like their clothes, but I would never spend that much money on them. Plus, everyone at my school buys their logo shirts, like all of them, so it's hard to find one someone doesn't have. With AE, it's easier, because people don't buy many of their logo shirts anymore.

But it's all extremely over priced.

I'm fourteen and really tiny
(im only 4'9) so I shop at
Abercrombie Kids, thats
where most of my clothes
are from. I have a lot of
clothes from Hollister too
though because their clothes
run small. So yeah, I am
deffinetly a prep.

Abercrombie Kids pants size large are too small on me.
Abercrombie and Fitch pants size extra small are a bit too large for me.
Do they have Abercrombie Medium? :guilty:

none of the malls in my area have an A&F, Hollister or AE. :guilty:
I don't care for A&F because I would probably never shop there, but I would definitely shop at Hollister and AE. we used to have an AE but they took it out of our mall because people shoplifted there too much. How stupid can people be?? I love aero, and have a lot of stuff from there, so I guess Im a prep. :)

No.

They all charge a whole bunch for something you could get at walmart that's virtually the same for like $10. I see normal red shirts with the name, "Hollister" stitched acrossed the front. When I ask the kids how much they paid for that, prices in the $40 range are common.

People, you want a normal shirt with "Hollister" on it so bad, go to Wal-Mart, buy a plain shirt for like $5, buy some fabric, cut out "Hollister" and sew it on yourself. :confused3

I'd pay an extra ten dollars for a shirt without "hollister" on it. :confused3

Cracks me up how if I were to start wearing AE, AF, Aero, or Hollister clothes to shool, I be labeled as a prep "wannabe".

People, you want a normal shirt with "Hollister" on it so bad, go to Wal-Mart, buy a plain shirt for like $5, buy some fabric, cut out "Hollister" and sew it on yourself.

I should so go to wal-mart, buy a red shirt and white fabric, cut out the fabric in letters that spell wal-mart, then sew the letters on the shirt and wear it. Then I would have a brand-name shirt.

I don't like the style.

Whats wrong with walmart?

You know that they're like...the same thing, right?

I'm wearing pajama pants from the men's section in walmart and a tshirt that was made in 1985. Whats wrong with how I'm dressed?

Nothing at all. it's not like I judge people on how they dress, i'm not shallow like that. I simply prefer not to shop there.

There's nothing wrong with shopping at Wal-Mart they make nice clothes at a good price. I generally don't shop there because I don't particularly like the clothes but other people do and I respect that.

Areopostale always goes on sale! But next time you walk into a Hollister or Abercrombie store pay attention to the unusual darkness, my mom says its to hide the exagerated price tags ::yes:: imho its true, for the things they sell the prices are unbelievable...not in a good way!

I find A&F to be so teeny-bopper. I mean, who wants to be a walking bilboard? Not me! AE is ok. I try not to buy the logo shirts, but I do like their cami's and jeans...that's about it. I also think I've grown out alot of that stuff too...

I like to shop at Nordstroms, Gap, J.Crew, Old Navy ect.

Babyjustrun
12-03-2006, 04:55 PM
AE is pretty good for their fashion tops and such. I really love them. But they are deathly expensive. I am not spending 50$ on a cable knit sweater thank-you, I can get one at Old Navy for 20 or 30$. Same goes for the skirts.

HSMndLKfan92
12-03-2006, 05:12 PM
In A&F, there are sweaters just under $200. THOSE I don't buy.

I love American Eagle..that's my store.

As for Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister, I can't fit into an XL there and I'm usually a M/L. I mean I can, but I'm fond of breathing more than an extremely thin, expensive, see-thru shirt.

I went in there one day to try on a sweatshirt, and well, I had to have my sister get me out of it while the sales lady laughed at me.
