Its a 60's party man! Gonna wear some groovy threads and practive peace to the world!! Tried to work in a ban the bra theme, but too many kids. I cant give up my costume, but I'll post some pictures later this weekend. Wish you all could be here!

Judy and Ken, you guys should do a stand up comedy routine for us. You both crack me up!

Judy, sorry about your upgrade and I'm glad to hear you didn't harm your dh. You have to remember that the Y chromosome causes short term memory loss! I'd apologize to the men here, but they'll forget I said that before they finish this post.

My dog is still in the hospital. She had a good day and even ate, but 1/2 hour before dh went to get her, she started having loose stool. Not sure what is going on, but I'm starting to stress. She is only 4. On the other hand, our 15 year old Westie is enjoying the peace of not having the wild Wheaten around.

Dh is going back and forth on a possible job change, and he is stressing me out about that too. I'm so ready to sit at the bar with a nice, strong drink.

Kimberlli, we're in 2028, so we'll be pretty close. There are a bunch of us on deck 2, so apparently that will be the party deck now that it doesn't look likely for Judy to be hosting us in WED.

I was looking through my supplies today, I just wanted to let some of the last minute joiners know that I will not have enough FE stuff to go around. I did have extra but not as much as previously thought. Please just take us off your list when you deliver so that you will have plenty for the people who will be able to exchange with you. Sorry :0(

Judy, we're looking at a warm up too. We had a balmy 44 degrees and sun today, ha ha. Pretty nice after our high school soccer team lost their playoffs yesterday in 2 inches of snow.

Our second elf arrived today. We have had Piper for a couple of years but now we have a girl, Tessa, who will be joining the family. The kids have been talking about Piper a lot and dh and I keep downplaying the whole thing. They know I get sick of the elf and all his mischief. He is just one more person to clean up after. They'll be so surprised to see them show up onboard. Any of you clever people come up with any elfcapades for me yet?

Pixiedustmom, did you find someone to pick up water/booze for you? I may be able to do it. I'm planning to stop. I just need to take a look at my packing and figure out how many luggage tags I'll need, etc. and how many bags I can manage along with our car seats.

Jimmycinpa- I meant to tell you that on our last cruise, my sis and parents had the connecting cabins directly opposite of you (starboard) and they were great rooms! I'm sure you'll enjoy your location although you will probably be spending more time down on 2 - The Party Deck (party is in Ken and Mich's room!)

My husband and kids are really only going for the rides though, so I'm not real sure they'll be supportive of my desire to meet my DIS buddies.:rotfl: I will drag them to the DISmeet though. They really are good people, but they are people with their own priorities and just don't get "it" if you know what I mean. I might have to sick Judy on them at some point during the cruise. Maybe I can get her to put some fear in them at the port before we board so they know that they absolutely have to attend the DIS meet and must atleast pretend like they think it's so cool that their mom knows all of these people.:rotfl2:

Okay I am so tired I can barely see. It has been a long day of out and about doing things then I had to come home and answer all the stuff from my virtual students since I feel bad if i do not get them an answer writing the day they ask. Plus I have been preparing to possibly need to fly to the arctic north for a family emergency. I told my parents I only do emergencies in the warm months. :happytv:

For those going to MVMCP it is really started to look like Christmas in the land of the Mouse. We even had a Santa spotting today......(he was not a Mouse Santa he was a Gaylord Palms Santa, but it was still Santa).

I saw the time for the meet, but did they give you a location? We are not sure we will be able to make it at 2:30 but I have it on the list.

Actually, I have surfed the net from a courtroom before, but there is a limit what I can do on the Blackberry and Disboards is tough on the Blackberry's memory.

And boy will I need the break...although we are squeezing in DVC at VB for Veteran's Day weekend, that will be a partially working trip for me. I am moving from home office into real office space this weekend with all the logistics that entails and then I have to be in Federal Court in Wilkes-Barre 2 days before we leave for the port...Problem being that Wilkes-Barre is a two plane trip from South Florida (each way).

They are in the closets. Your card opens and closes them- we put our passports and small items in it while we were onboard. Hope this helps.:goodvibes

Read in Passporters that any magnetized card will open and close them. I am assuming you have to use the same card to open and close it. Yea - we had the same problem with our world cards. DD's(11 at the time) card just stopped working. She thought it was great because her new card was different than the rest of ours!

you are correct that any card will open them, but since the only card you actually need on board is the key to the world card, all the other cards will be IN the safe, along with the cell phones, blackberrys and probably some of the jewelry.

Are you staying at the Hyatt in the airport? If you are it may be easiest for me to help you out......I live ten minutes from the airport and I will be home by 11am that day. That way no way else needs to squeeze it into their vacation time.

I was thinking it'd be funny if the elf got into the kitchen and ate part of their Mickey bar or decorated the Mickey bar like an elf. Other ideas, driving the boat, giving/getting a massage, messing up a Bingo game, going down the pirate slide in the kid's club.

I can not find my long sleeve shirts for the life of me. But I did find that DH put all our jackets in the front closet, which explains why that closet looks like one from the Haunted Mansion. The high is back up in the low 80's today, so my cold weather clothes need was short lived. I think I will be on the hunt for my clothes, or buying new ones, to start packing for the cruise.

I did go to a consignment shop yesterday. I traded in DD2's too small clothes for some cold weather clothes and 2 very cute dresses for the cruise. :banana:

I believe only someone with Moderator Access can move it. IM a moderator here is the list lbgraves, MarkRG, WDWLVR, WebmasterRegina, SueEllen, TnRobin, mommasita

They are all on the main cruise one and they can move it or PM and ask them to delet it then redo your steps just do it on the Meets thread. You did it right just on the wrong thread.
