Snack credits at France bakery

I remember reading somewhere on the boards where snack credits left at the end of your trip would best be used at the bakery in France. I had this in the back of my mind all week and when I went there to use them all up I was told that only soft drinks were considered snacks there. We ended up at Goofy's candy company at Downtown Disney, where almost everything is considered a snack.

Has anyone tried to use snack credits in France and been able to???? :confused3

I had the exact same experience as you--they would only allow a drink with a snack credit. So we went to Seasons food court in the Land and had some delicious desserts with our snack credits instead!

In 2005 we were able to use snack credits for pastries at the bakery in France. In 2006, we were not.
