Mickey head wreath - hwo to make..

I am thinking of making a Mickey head wreath with two smaller wreaths for ears and a bigger one for face. I was thinking of using floral wire to join together and having ribbons around it. Has anyone made anything like this? If so, I would love to hear your ideas.

A neighbour a few doors down has one on the front of their house. It's a large one, with the 2 smaller ones for ears, and then it's lit up. What else would be cute is if you hung a Santa hat to the left side of the smaller one like Mickey's wearing a Santa hat. I'm thinking of this myself.

I wanted to put lights, but didn't get around to it. I would have used the battery operated ones...

Wreaths are attached with green floral wire...

I love it - that is something like the one I want to make. Where did you get you wreaths? Do you know the mesurements of the small and large ones?

Thanks! I got everything at Michael's. I don't remember the measurements, though. The middle one is pretty big...the whole contraption doesn't fit in the 30" wreath container at Target...

I just held the wreaths together and eyeballed it to see if it was proportional..., sorry I'm not more help! :(

I made a Mickey head wreath too but I didn't use 2 smaller wreaths. I bought an el cheapo green wreath and then I bought a package of green garland (9ft) to match. I divided the garland into 2 equal parts and made circles. I attached the circles to the large wreath with 2 (per ear) green cable ties. Then I took a string of 100 white/clear lights and ran them around the wreath/ears. I plan to hang it in my resort window in approx 8 days! :banana:

Brise Nannie's method is the one that I used. What an idiot I am. I have the 2 wreaths I bought for the ears in my garage b/c they were too big...
