I am the trip planner for our group of 15 that will be having our own "Magical Gathering" at WDW this summer. I was talking to one of my sister-in-laws who will be on the trip this past weekend and she asked me if she would be able to bring (they are driving) her plastic Radio Flyer wagon in the parks. I told her I didn't think so, but I would ask the experts (my DIS friends!). DS is 17, so strollers/wagons in the parks haven't been an issue for me for quite some time. Thanks!

No, I don't think wagons are allowed, sorry.

I've been told that it's a safety issue. With a wagon, your kids are behind you. That leads to a couple of problems. First, your kids can easily fall out of the wagon without you seeing them. Second, they are too easy for other guests to trip over. Wagons just don't work well in crowds.

I've seen people told at the gates (on two occassions) that they couldn't bring wagons in. Both times they were given vouchers for a free stroller rental and the Disney people held their wagons from them until they left the park.
