I'm sure you've all had magical moments at DLRP. Let's share them with each other. :goodvibes

We've had lots of magical moments ~ the two that spring to mind immediately were both on our Christmas trip last year. The first was watching the Enchanted Treelighting Ceremony on Christmas Eve. My youngest DD was holding a plush Minnie and when Mickey saw this he showed the real Minnie, they took the plush and danced round with it then both kissed it before giving it back to DD. :cloud9:

The second was having a family photo taken with Mickey Mouse on Christmas Day morning. :santa:

That's is a really hard one..errm.

On our Christmas trip last December we were staying at the HNY. we had just had dinner at the park side dinner and as we were going back to our room we saw Pluto in the lobby who was dancing to catchy rhythm. He was getting all the children involved and my dd joined in with them all which was lovely to watch as she can be a little bit shy.

At cafe mickey with have lots of memories and my dd will still talk about when Baloo stole her my sisters ice cream from our first trip over a year ago. How captain hook stamped his foot and how pinocchio tickled me.

When she talks about the time Pluto stole captain hooks sword she still laughs.

and the first time she met Mickey, he put out his hand for her to shake and she just goes and hugs him. awwh

On my 25th birthday, my mom and I went to Café Mickey for the character breakfast. At that time, I was very near to a depression, because of all the health problems I was going through. Getting a hug from Mickey on my 25th birthday, just made my day, and cheered me up a lot!!!!

You don't have to restrict yourself to one :) I've asked the troops to think of theirs and I will post them up once they are less than treble figures :teeth:

My most recent Magical Moment was watching Fantillusion. Absolutely Brillaint. Running a close second is my ride on Panoramagique and having a cuddle off The Beast

I know this is off topic but where was the meet and greet situated for the Beast NIK ?

My DD8 is in a dance show next Easter and has been chosen to play the part of the Beast. It would be magical for her to have her photo taken with him if he is there in December.

My most magical moment was watching my DD totally memerised as she went round "It's a Small World". It is one of the only time I can remember her sitting totally still and not talking. She was just completely transfixed by the ride.

It was pure magic.

Sorry I've taken a while to get back to you! Only have limited access.

I met 'his nibs' in Belle's Christmas Village which is to one side of the Labyrinth. When I was there they were doing 1/2 hour stints swapping between Belle and the Beast so if Belle's there and you particularly want the Beast it's worth hanging about because the time flies when he's there and they soon move folks on.

I couldn't get over how huge he was! :thumbsup2 but I was so impresssed with the way he coped with the little 'uns. He must have seemed even larger to them than to 5ft 3 me! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Thanks NIK,

We have seen the village show a few times and it is fab !!! :goodvibes

I am sure DD will hang around all day if there is a chance she could meet 'the Beast'. :rotfl:

Do you know if the appearance times posted anywhere ? I just dont want her to miss him as we have never seen him before (plenty of pics with Beauty though).

One of my favourite memories of DLRP (and a personal triumph for me) was getting on the first train of the day on BTM. We beat the masses and it was so much fun.

I'm thinking of more, but thats the one that sticks in my head!
