Has anyone eaten at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at City Walk? I was wondering if its any good. My sister really likes the one in Chicago at Navy Pier and we were thinking of trying the one in Orlando. I must say the one in Chicago makes a good cheeseburger! :lmao: I don't like shrimp, but my sister loves it so I usually agree to go there to make her happy.

Anyone been there yet?

Yes, I have been there and it was really good. You can get fish if you don't want shrimp.

I ate at the one in San Francisco, years ago. It was basic chain restaurant food (I don't mean that in a bad way). And I don't eat fish, so there must have been things that appealed to me on the menu.

Nope. Don't eat fish either. The couple of times that I've tried fish I've gotten sick from it and it was never a very pleasant experience. I know it wasn't bad because someone else finished off my portion of it and didn't get sick. So it was obviously me. I was wondering if the chicken there is good. I almost got it the last time we were in Chicago, but instead opted for the tried and true cheeseburger. :rotfl2: Maybe in January I will try the chicken. We'll see though. My sister is far more adventurous when it comes to food than me. I've gotten better as I've gotten older, but there are still alot of foods I won't touch with a ten foot pole. Shrimp and Fish being tops on that list.

We ate at Citywalk's in October. We had heard some bad reports being as they had just opened but we found them to be untrue. We had a great experience. The food was good(fried shrimp, hamburgers, garlic bread) and the portions were huge. We would go back again.

We have been to the one in CityWalk and the one in Bayside Miami. We all liked it. The CW BG waitress was all of 20 years old and she had watched the movie at least 10 times looking for trivia, I'm sure. She asked us where Bubba got shot and I said Viet Nam and my daughter said the "buttocks". We were both right. BTW his girlfriend, Jenny's, last name is Current. They don't say it but its on a letter addressed to Forest.
I love their Bucket of Boat Trash!

Our group loved it. We all had seafood, tho. We'd read online that it was comparable with chain restaurants (Bennigan's, Friday's, Chili's), which we generally do not care for, nor seek out. However, we didn't find our experience, nor menu items, to be like chain restaurants at all.

Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Oh, and we weren't asked about any trivia at all. Our server took care of us very, very well :)

We ate twice when we were there for Thanksgiving...our first visit we were not asked the trivia questions...but the service was good and the food was awesome...i had the popcorn shrimp, dd had the po'boy and ds had the stuffed shrimp, other ds had pizza (which is what he ate for 4 days straight)
the second time we went our server was Reggie...he was awesome...he pulled up a chair and we had so much fun with the questions...we got all but the last one right...what is Bubbas full name? not one of us had a clue...but part of it is written on the table...lol try to figure it out?!?!? You guess all 10 and you get a free dessert. also the onion rings are good. I cant wait to go back in July

Dh and I played the "trivia" game with another table. We won, so our server said he was going to bring us free dessert - we thought how cool that was.....the waiter brought us our "dessert" - it was 2 sugar packets! :rotfl2: :lmao:
But it was all in good fun and a neat place to eat!

I have been. I cannot comment on the burger, though. Because, my son and I had the shrimp platter. But, we really enjoyed it. I vote you go. :thumbsup2
