DH and I are taking our 3 DD's (12,10, 4 1/2) to Disney for the first time in March, and like other's this is a big part of their christmas present. They know about our trip and understand completely how they can't have everything and Disney too.

That being said I'd really like to do them each some kind of "Disney Package" or "Disney Basket" to open. I'm looking for suggestions on what I could include and where I can get brochures or park maps at to include them too?

Thanks in advance for the help!! :grouphug:

What a great idea to open for Christmas and to get them even more into the trip. Here are a few ideas:

1. guidebook (for kids) (maps in guidebooks usually)
2. Disney stuffed animal/mini globe
3. disposable cameras
4. glow sticks/bracelets/necklaces
5. order the planning DVD to watch after gifts are opened and there are some phamplets inside w/map info
6. autograph books (you can order online or even make yourself, which is a lot of fun)
7. sunglasses, suntan lotion, character towel, goggles, bathing suit, flip flops
8. t-shirts of favorite characters
9. tiaras for all 3!
10. favorite disney DVD

I have done a couple of the gift bags...one time I stuffed everything into Disney beach bags found on sale at a super price at DS. I also found some large clear cellophane gift bags at Target that holds a lot of items. You can add tissue paper or shredded tissue paper to cover contents and tie close with curling ribbon. I also read a great hint on these boards -- for the gift tag, get Mickey head paint chips at Home Depot and write the names on them in silver sharpie. Have fun putting the gift bags together and planning a fabulous trip :)

Some ideas...

* Avon has Disney lip balms for .69 with free shipping
* Do they have italian charm bracelets? you could give them a Disney italian charm (order from ebay)
* Personalized fleece throws on Disney shopping for 9.99
* Disney tee shirt as a bathing suit cover up

Have fun!!

Right now Target has a ton of Mickey items in the dollar bins. Stickers and the like. Coloring books too! I also read that you can get maps printed just for you. I think you can go to the disney website. I tried it and it is pretty cool. I don't know if you can get them in time for Christmas though. Maybe Valentine's Day? Good luck! I love this idea!!! :thumbsup2

I ordered the pin lanyards for my kids. I hear that it's the "cool" thing to do around Disney right now. They can collect pins and trade them with other guests or CMs.
