I feel like Santa. I've been making my list and checking it twice. Packing list that is.:bounce: I think I have everything covered, but I'm sure there's something I made a mental note of on our last trip to WDW that I said I needed to be sure I took on our next trip. But, I'm sure I'll remember it when we get to WDW.

Is there something you wish you had packed on your last trip but didn't?

Do you have a Passporter (http://www.passporter.com)? There's a WONDERFUL packing list in the Passporter. I always use it for any of our trips, Disney or wherever, and we've never forgotten anything!

Years and years ago, I started making a list of things before packing and correct that list upon returning home from WDW. Over the years its gotten to be a science, what goes and what was a waste. Basic items are all mapped out, never forgot anything that was essential. As for clothing, thats narrowed done over the years to the length of our stay. Coming home, I unpack and see what didn't get used and correct the list. Through the years some musts have gone and new items have emerged but thanks to the list its easy to lay out things, check them off and travel with no doubt in my head over forgotten items.

my annual pass voucher. I realized it at the airport (10 min from home), and had plenty of time to go back and get it.... except I put my keys in my checked luggage.... It was a nightmare trying to get guest services to re-issue.

I packed an extra bag for souveniers, but I wish I had packed another one. We ended up buying a nice backpack for my DD that she needed anyway for school so we used that.

"Emergency" ponchos from Target. They're small (tuck into a pocket or fanny pack very easily) and cheap. I never bought them before my trip last year, and was soooooo glad to have them when the day-before-the-hurricane storm struck. I have never been in rain that torrential before! Others in my party had to buy the WDW ponchos (at about $8 a pop) but I had my 79-cent poncho.

When I was done, I just threw it away (didn't feel like I needed to "save" it for use later, since I had spent so little on it). Plus, the WDW ponchos don't fold down into such a compact size.

On our honeymoon, I forgot to pack sinus/allergy meds...it was May and they aren't usually a problem for me then. On the last day of trip, DH bought Benadryl at the resort store and I spent the entire day with medicine head! I never take it because it knocks me out, but it's all they had. Since then, I pack sinus/allergy meds for every trip no matter what time of year! I also bring lip balm with SPF everywhere I go, especially Orlando.

Don't forget aspirin expecially if you plan on going to pleasure island, no one needs a hang over at disney, lol....

Extra memory cards for your camera, phone charger, camera battery charger, that's all I can think of hopefully I am able to pack my stuff in a month :)

We forgot saline solution for our contacts <GRRR>

Just back-nail clippers, hand lotion, chapstick and zip up sweatshirts. For some reason we really needed the chapstick and hand lotion. Our skin felt very dry. It was really a pain in the neck to keep pulling everything over my head so I would bring zip up things vs. pull over in the future. It didn't help that my hair was out of control the whole week :rotfl2: We had layers on and when you got inside it was hot so to peel off a layer over the head yet again was getting old.

Wow, that's my all-time fear! I have gas perms (hard contacts) and you can't find the solutions in the gift shops.

On our last trip I forgot a comb for our hair! I remembered the brush though.

I have forgotten sunblock twice and had to buy it inside the park (which I would NOT reccommend), and last trip I forgot my DS sippy cup. We bought one with a neck strap that turned out to be even better than the one I had meant to bring.

Good luck remembering everything!

OUr first two trips I didn't pack moleskin. I have now been "turned on" to moleskin and never leave for a trip without it. I am in the process of trying body glide now. Enjoy

I do this too! It works great. Everyone has different packing needs, so using a generic packing list doesn't work for everyone. I fine-tune mine when I return from each trip.

The thing I learned from my last trip: Pack half of the amount of clothes that I think I'll need and do laundry mid-trip! It's a nice little break from the hustle and bustle of the parks, and saves a lot of hassle with over-stuffed luggage.

I always forget my tooth brush. I use an electric one at home, but don't travel with it. I by a tooth brush every where I go, like most people buy post cards. Yea it would be real nice if they had land marks on them :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: "Brushing your teeth from Florida"

The only thing that I wish I had brought was a nice casual skirt and a pair of sandals for our signature meal. I made the decision based on some threads here that there are lots of people who just wear shorts; I would have been happier dressed a little nicer.

Other than that I think I brought things that I didn't use based on other tips. But better safe than sorry!

If you have kids, I highly recoomend buying a princess dress before you go! I never expected the Tinkerbell dress to be $68 in the park. Other than that, ibuprofen, medicated bandaids, hydrocortisone (for the no-see-ums... especially at AK) and snacks for in the room. And if you go in the rainy season... extra walking shoes! We had to dry our tennies every night with the in-room hair dryer.

A powerstrip. Outlets seem to be at a premium in the resort rooms. I just bought a cheap one at Walmart. Good enough to plug in cellphone, battery charger, and other electrical items.

ZIPLOCK BAGS! They work for anything from an open package of candy to wet clothing. They are also great for holding all the little items you purchase. Never leave home without 'em.

I do the same. Here it is. It is one column here, but in my file it is separated into columns by destination. So you always look at the basic list plus the column that applies to this trip. :goodvibes
