View Full Version : Never good when phone rings early in A.M.

Well my older daughter (not shelbymarie), works for a retail store. She had to be at work at 5:00 AM to open the store.

At 6:30 this morning my phone rang, she was taken to the hospital. They had opened the doors, for the big line of people, and all of a sudden all she could see was colors and fuzzy shapes, and then she had some kind of seizure. One of the other girls caught her before she hit the ground.

I have spent the entire day at the hospital with her. All the tests are coming back negative. They decided to keep her overnight. They were taking her off to get an MRI, when I decided to come home for a little while.

It is never good news when your phone rings early in the morning.

Best wishes to you and yours, Fly. And, you are correct, that phone call early morning/middle of the night makes our hearts skip beats. I swear each time it happens, my life is shortened! Amazing how, even if they are out of the house, on their own, we are always "on". Hugs and pixie dust to all of you!

Well she is still in the hospital. I am waiting for a phone call letting me know if I can bring her home, or if she has to stay another night. She had to have a few more tests today.

Thanks for all your thoughts, prayers and pixie dust! I will let you know when she is home safe and sound. :thumbsup2

Well they decided to let her go home at 8:00 this evening. They put her on anti-seizure medication and she will follow up at the doctors office.

Thanks again for all your kind words. This has been a very long weekend.

I hope they sort out what caused the seizure quickly and all is well.
