The movie comes out that week as well. I would love, love, love at POTC 3 opening at WDW maybe to go along with this event? I believe it's a merchandise event and I'm anxious for more details.

Please let this be an indicator of a WDW premier! I think it really could be because last year DL had events POTC related, and they got the premier.....

If anyone knows if the premiere will happen in MK like it did in DL,speak now!
I mean like the whole stars and red carpet thing.
It would fit in well with the title,At World's End cause DL and WDW are at opposite ends of the nation......
I reallllllllly need info cause I want to go for my 8th grade graduation! No red carpet premiere, probably a no go!lolIt would make my year to go,maybe even my whole teen age life!I need any news!

This note is at the bottom of the page:
*Please note, this event is NOT the World Premier of
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End*
So this should answer the question as to whether this is the premiere, the answer is NO! :sad1:

Interesting, but $400/couple a little steep for things just in the contemporary.
The 1st HHE was just $99 and was in the park. Granted this is supposed to have more entertainment/ lecture aspects. Of coure, my perspective would probably be different if I wasn't so poor :teeth:

I'm still holding out hope! The events before aren't the premiere, the movie won't be released til Friday..the premiere at DL last year was on a Saturday, believe it or not....
I'm keeping hope!
You know,it could be a indicator that THAT wouldn't be where the premiere would be or when....I'M KEEPING FAITH!lol
Dear God,
It's me....again!God,if you could spare some time,PLEASE try to make a POTC3(also known as Pirates Of The Caribbbean:At World's End) premiere in WDW(Walt Disney World for you God).I'm not getting a Fire Red Razar for Christmas,so I feel this is a fine substitute!

Just a little inside Hollywood secret.
All those people you see staggering down the red carpet and saying nice things about the movie - they are all paid to be there. Every actor/celeb in town has an appearance fee, the studios set a budget for the premiere of a movie and line up the "star power" they think will draw enough media coverage to the event. Even Tim Allen still has car payments to make.
If the premiere is held out of town (meaning anywhere other than Los Angeles or Manhattan), those celebrities expect their transportation and lodging to be included as well. Costs can quickly soar – the published cost of the Pearl Harbor premiere was $5 million, but is “rumored” to have been more than twice that.
Disney isn’t going to get more press coverage in Orlando than will at Disneyland (in fact, they’d get a lot less – the media press has to travel too). There’s no justification to pay even more for Corbin Burnsen than he’s already getting. Unless Disney really thinks the movie’s in trouble and needs to drop $25 million in marketing, the premiere will be in L.A. or NYC.

Wait are you saying that Pearl Harbor was some sort of success and the premiere was the reason? Or was that supposed to be a can't save ?

i'm thinking type-o myself. Pearl Harbor was by no means a success.

I'm also wondering if $400 a couple would be worth it. My DH is very excited to see POTC 3 and we were planning on going to the midnight show anyway since we'll already be in WDW. I wonder if it will be a private screening with just other event goers or if the screening includes the general public? I wish we had some more information on exactly what is included for the price. There's not many specifics on the website.pirate:

I thought log and hard about this package but, in the end, I feel it isn't worth the price. I will be WDW for the opening of Pirates 3 anyway. I will just go see it in the theater. pirate:

I would REALLY like to do Tier 2, Okay I would REALLY REALLY like to do tier 1 but there is no way. Tier 2 after taking the room into consideration isn't a bad deal. DH is thinking on it. In the end he will agree and I will be the one who just can't justify the money.

The shipping charges are in case you want or need to ship your merchandise home. If you're driving or want to take everything on the plane with you, then don't concern yourself about the shipping charges.
