Although we've been to DL a couple of times (the last being 2 years ago), we usually don't sit down and eat in a restaurant. Just grap something on the run. Unlike in WDW, when I planned every meal so experience all of those great restaurants! What restaurants (other than Bayou) would you recommend to not miss? Will have kids with us, 15 to 3 years old.
THANKS!

River Belle Terrace has great breakfasts. I understand it was one of Walt's favorite places to people-watch.

I love the gumbo from the stand just before New Orleans Square. And the Bengal Barbeque has yummy barbeque chicken and beef on sticks, just the right size for a snack. (Oops, had to wipe the drool off the keyboard...)

Tha Plaza Inn is pleasant, and they have a character breakfast, nice buffeteria lunches and dinner. Huge portions in the adult meals, enough for 2 people in my family..

I like Redd Rocket Pizza Planet, if we are not eating at Blue Bayou we are eating there. I am not crazy for their pizza but some of their pasta dishes are incredieble. My favorite is this pasta and cream sauce with chicken, I can't think of the name but it's really really good.

You may also want to try the recently opened Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland. It is located between the shooting gallery and Big Thunder railroad. It severs two types of fare. They have a Mexican food side and a Barbecue side.

On the Mexican side you can get Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas(sp), Taco salad and rice and beans.

On the Barbecue side they have Ribs, Chicken, Beef, Fries, Corn Bread and Cole Slaw.
During lunch you can also get sandwiches with the above ingredients.

We have eaten there many times and have always been very pleased with the food.

Oh and deserts……
They have a Peach Cobbler and a Brownie that is out of this world.
