Chicago-area DIS Meet: Date picked - see other thread!

Hello, everyone

This is a poll to see which date will work with most people. Dec 2 and the 17th are the only 2 dates that will work for me, but you can write neither and maybe if there's another date that works better, I can organize it, but I just won't be there :p

Location of this meet will be in Lake County at the Culver's near the Tollway (90) and then shopping at Gurnee Mills (which has a Disney Outlet store BTW :teeth: )

*We'll go with the majority on this one, even if it's a mini-meet, but we WILL plan something for January, so not to worry if you can't make it for this one!*

i thought it would be good to do a december meet and we could shop or do a movie afterwards.

Voted for Sunday Dec 17 as Dec 2 I already have 2 things going on that cannot change. An x-mas party for the kids we are invited to and a big special event going on at our church- both on Dec 2. Dec 17 will work out for me :thumbsup2

You must work the opposite alternating weekend that I do. Neither of the dates will work for me. They are on the same alternating weekends. But maybe one in January would work better? Or does it have to be a weekend? Kids are out of school x 2 weeks starting after Christmas. Maybe a weekday?

I would prefer January though. I may be at the World on the second (still up in the air) and I think the 17 is too close to Christmas to get a good turnout (plus HUGE crowds at the mall). JMO though.

Hmmm...good points, tiggerrn2 and Dan Murphy. I'm thinking the 17th is too close too.

BUT, I am off the whole week after Christmas. :cool1: Anyone else available on a weekday that week?? (except for the day after Christmas - that would be a madhouse!!)

If not, we can always shoot for January, and whoever wants to get together in Dec, I can do it too!

Me, too! I don't care if it's just me and you mac! I'll still go! And we can plan something for January, too when more people can go. I'm leaning on the Dec 2, because Dec 17 is a week before Christmas and I'm sure I'll be broke by then, too (so I won't be able to shop as much :teeth: )

Hmm, it will hopefully give me a chance to meet up with both Jedi and Mac,
since I've met both in the past. Well, I worked with Jedi briefly at TDS. ;)
(Not to mention a chance to meet up again with the ubiquitous Dan
Murphy. ;) )
