Do these tickets have to be purchased via the web?

I was in the USF.com site and could not find my way to this offer. Is it from the ticket section or some other? Thanks.

I was kicking myself for not taking advantage of this offer when AAA had it a few months ago. On the Discover card offer, the extra day expires. It does not on this offer. I went to the link and ordered 8 tickets. It worked like a charm. Thanks for posting.

wow, this is great! thanks for posting this. We're going to Universal for the first time in January. I was going to buy a two park - two day pass using the Fan Club Card and save $4. Now it'll cost me only about $2.00 more and I get an extra day that never expires.

I just got an e-mail from UPS saying that the package I ordered from Universal Studios only a few hours ago is expected to be delivered tomorrow. That's quick (and it was only $6, $3 more than postal delivery.)

My tickets arrived in less than 24 hours from when I ordered them. On the back, the state "2day/2day 3rd day free." Thanks again for posting.

You saved us a bundle!! My husband had just stopped by AAA and bought our 5 tickets for USF and IOA. They were for 2 day tickets. Then we saw your post. I am so surprised at AAA. They were charging about $5 more than we could have bought them straight from USF. I thought AAA was giving us a discount. Not so!! So now we got that refunded and bought our tickets on-line with your link. Fantastic! They did end up charging us tax (AAA didn't.) But for what amounts to $3 more apiece for our family of 5, we now have a 3 day ticket that never expires, instead of the 2 day from AAA. Thank you so very much! Pomcoach :bounce:

I just got my tickets Dec. 3rd in the regular mail. I think it was $3 for shipping and handling. I ordered mine the cheapest delivery method and got them in 5 days, 2 of those days being a Sat. and Sunday! So you get them really fast!!! Thank you again for posting this! Pomcoach:bounce:

Hi All,

Don't know if you are aware but this was posted on the UK boards :

US/IoA APs can be purchased for $99 adult or child. The pass has no blackout dates and qualifies for free parking and the other discounts available to AP holders. So for everyone out before 31st Jan, snap up a bargain with your AAA card (free for AA members in UK) Office nearer to Disney:
AAA, 204 West Oak St,
Kissimmee
phone: 407-944 0866
fax: 407-944 0870

I 've just noticed on the www.floridakiss.com site the offer has been extended -" Must purchase by 05/31/02"

The Universal site seems to be playing up though.

On thing that does concern me is whether the 3rd (free) day has to be used within 7 days of activation. ( There was some discussion of this prior to the tech problems on DIS.) When I purchased these tickets the Universal site said unused days never expire.

Can anyone throw any light on this?

Regards

Tony

I see you live in Florida. If you get there before the end of this month, you can get an annual pass for $99.95 at a AAA South office.

As 'Donk', says it has been extended to May
"Must purchase by 05/31/02"

Arissa,
Thanks for the update. Great news, but it looks like the price has jumped up a few dollars from where it was last week (from $85.95 to $89.95 for an adult). Can anyone who bought them before last week confirm that?
Thanks,
Ted

Tedo - I had copied down the prices from 2 weeks ago as 85.95/adult & 72.95 for children. I wish I could find that deal again!!

Arissa
01-19-2002, 08:48 AM
Surely that can't be right. It's very misleading.

$85.95 is the normal price advertised for a regular two day pass, if you go directly to the US site and not passthru the Kissoffer site.

If they are advertising a 2 day pass for 3 days, they should offer you the deal at the proper two day rate of $85.95. Not up it by $4 dollars.
Doesn't make sense?

All I can say is, it's still a great deal for 3 days. We just got back from our trip on Jan. 13th. We used 2 days on our passes and have a day left on our tickets. We essentially will get to go to Universal for a day on our next trip for FREE! YEAH!
While I'm here, I also want to say that we age at Marguerittaville. I probably mispelled that. It was the best food and the most fun. Our daughter, who's 13, was chosen to wave the lost shaker of Salt back and forth. We got lots of pictures and she had a blast! We also got balloon hats made for us by the cool balloon guy there for free! He goes from table to table as entertainment. It was a fabulous place! Pomcoach:bounce:

I just tried to order the Kissimee Travel Center tickets, and after giving my credit card # and getting all of the way through the process, it said that the tickets were sold out! Oh well, thanks for posting the information anyway. We don't go until August, so I guess I'll wait and see what might come up before then. We are Auto Club members, Florida residents, and have the Fan club cards, so one should work out, right?

Hi,
Could someone tell me if these tickets will allow you to go to both parks in one day?? In other words, hop? It would be a great deal if you could go to both parks in one day, on three different days!
Thanks!

rangebob
01-27-2002, 06:53 PM
The multiday passes allow you to do park hopping. The only pass that doesn't is a one day pass, even they sell a one day two park pass I think the cost of this pass is around $70.00.

I've been trying to access this for 2 days and keep getting a message that there's a 'javascript error.insert javascript into Location for details' Any clues what that means and what I need to do????

I can access the floridakiss.com site and go into the special deals and attractions and scroll to the bottom to see the hyperlink to purchase these tickets. When I click on that hyperlink, I get the above message. I've never had this problem before. Searched all over the site, but couldn't find a way to e-mail them to ask for assistance. Guess they don't want to be contacted with questions or feedback. Thanks.

Yesterday I got to this on the web site and today it was gone - so I called the # listed for customer service 1-888-322--7119 and the CM wasn't sure why it had disappeared, but he helpfully took my name and # and had a manager call me back. She says the offer is available until 5/31 - $89.95 adults for 2 day multipark ticket - 3rd day free - includes 7 day City Pass. She confirmed that the tickets never expire, but the City Pass is only good for 7 days from first use. $ 10.00 tax and $3.00 delivery fee - great deal for us as we were given free one-day passes (good for 30 years) for helping with a survey on our last visit - after our two days this summer we will still have two free days each - we're sure to be back within 29 years !!!:D

I really appreciate your efforts. I figured out that when I try to purchase tickets on the Universal site I get the same javascript error message, so I e-mailed them to see if they can help. Haven't heard back yet. Meanwhile, I'll keep trying, if the offer is good until May -- or I'll try from someone else's computer.

Actually, I think the new deal is "7 consecutive days admission for $89.95". It was on the universal studios website.

Like others I've seen posting, I'm getting the same javascript errors when trying to access the 3 day offer for $89. I've tried everything, even grabbing the URL error message and manually trying to go here:

https://tickets.universalstudios.com/USRG/us_store_secure.jsp?merchant=5000&refloc=UO

but to no avail.

But I've come across another low-cost option that I wanted to run by those on here. While looking for purchase my WDW 5 day hopper, I noticed the online ticket place (which I confirmed was very reputable via another discussion under this DIS umbrella) offered the 3 day passes for $99 adult, $84 child, including taxes. Given free pickup near the WDW area, this sounded pretty good too - no shipping costs(we're going in less than a week!), tax included, good child rate.

What is the Kissimmee deal on the child rate? For 2 adults and 1 child, we get 3 days at US/IOA with no expiration and 3 nights CityWalk (within first 7 days) for $282, so this sound pretty comparable.

Info found at:

http://store.yahoo.com/floridatickets/unstudisofad.html

Any thoughts on this? Sounds good to me!

kevster - Just got my tickets in the mail today! If you want to check the children's prices on this deal you can call the 888# I listed in my above post - I didnt ask because my son is a 13yo "adult". This was my breakdown - 2day/2park adult tickets w/3rd day free (no expiration) one City Walk Pass entry for each - 89.95ea, 10.80 tax, and 3.00 shipping -total 193.70. Your deal sounds good depending on what the kids prices are - they were extremely helpful on the phone- ask for the kissimmee/st. cloud offer and tell them you're having problems with the online ordering (that's what I had to do when I couldn't find it online).

kevster
02-02-2002, 06:00 PM
the person I spoke to from the 888 number indicated they weren't running it anymore, despite the website indicating it runs through May.

She tried the "7 day unlimited" sell and I told her I was looking for 3 days, no expiration as we are doing 1, maybe 2 days for this trip next week. I'll call back and try again (maybe a diff operator will help?), but $182 for 2 adults and 1 child 3-9 sounds comparable to what they'd probably offer me. That and I could pick up with my WDW tickets all in one stop is making me lean that way.

Thanks for the reply, good to know the deals appear comparable.

I ordered the universal bonus pass last wed evening and they were shipped to the uk on thursday, just awaiting delivery, what fantastic offer 7 consecutive days entrance for that price. But I have a question about the phot id required, my eldest son (10) does not have a passport of his own, he is on mine, will he still need a photo id, I don't really want to get him a passport of his own just yet as there is 5 years still to run on mine. I have e-mailed US 2 days ago but no answer, I have the same problem with the Busch gardens Etickets, again e-mailed but no answer. Can anyone help?

kda and kevster, I was also getting the javascript error. The only thing that helped was for me to use another computer. Worked like a charm.

kevster, I also called and was given the 7 day unlimited sell. I asked for the kissimee/st.cloud offer and was told there's no such creature currently available.

I was finally able to book on-line using the link posted here. If you just sign on to the Universal Orlando website, it's not there. Good luck!

I finally decided I'll just have to use another computer, too. It occurred to me that it might have something to do with the fact that I HATE to update the versions of my browsers and perhaps an older version is preventing downloading. OR, I might have better luck with IE, instead of Netscape. So I tried IE and could get the desired page to download, but couldn't click on the 'tickets' icon. Go figure.

One more tip - when I called the 888# because I couldn't find the deal on line, the agent who answered couldn't find it either, but he took my name and # and said he would check with his manager - I waited on line for quite a while while he tried to find it in his system - fortunately for me he had seen it before so he was persistent! the manager was the one who called me back with the info a couple of hours later - long story short - if the agent who answers the phone can't find the info ask to speak to a manager or ask to have one contact you back. She assured me this offer would be in effect until 5/31 in case I needed more tickets for my friends. I think the agents who answer the phones are like CRO CMs and want to sell you the deal of the day - be persistent if you want to find the info - good luck!
