hey....
i am currently considering purchasing points at vwl and have a what if question for all of you dvc vets....
if i were to purchase 300 points vwl and then want to add additional points at a later date but there were no more points available for purchase at vwl...could i purchase at a different resort, say 100 points at bcv...i assume that my home resort would remain vwl, is this correct...also, can i use all 400 points at any resort...since i own points at bcv as well as vwl, what is my booking window for each (11 or 7 months)...
thanx in advance...

You could buy BC if still available. The points would be separate and only the 300 WLV points could be used at the 11 month window at WLV and the 100 BC at 11 months at BC. At 7 months out, the points could be used together for the same resort, any DVC resort.

Another popular option might be to bank and borrow points on the 100 pt add-on at BCV, giving you 200 or 300 points to use every two or three years. If you banked one year, borrowed from another, you would have 300 points to make one reservation at BCV at the 11 month window. Of course, you could bank your points for VWL for that year if you didn't need them for a second trip.
