I got my wii

I have wanted a wii ever since i heard of it. so Saterday at noon i went and waited at walmart. they wouldn't tell us how many they had but they said around 30. I was 32 in line so i thought i had a good chance of getting one. I waited in line and an employee said they had around 60. This made everbody in line happy. Later they came out and said there was 42. then after that they said 30. we went and talked to the person at the game counter who calle dthe assitant manager and they said they had 30 definate but ppl that couldn't pay or had no ID couldn't get it. So i kept waiting thinking i had a chance. Then they said 1 per person could ge it and too ladys that were there waiting with there familys decided to get 1 each so that bumbed us back 2 places to 34. :furious: Then we found another guy who had 2 spots in line (his and his girlfriends) they were trying to sell there spot for $250 apiece. :furious: No body would buy them so they stayed in line. We then found out at 11:00pm that we wouldn't be getting one, so we headed home dissipointed.

When we got home my mom said that amazon was selling them that night at 3:00am we waited and they didn't sell them we then set it up to reserve for us. and this morning we got one around 7:00am :cool1: :thumbsup2 :banana:

We also got an extra control and Zelda Twilight Princess. :woohoo:


I was so happy that my 11 hourrs of waiting did not go for nothing.

I would have been up near the middle of the line but i had to do a highway clean-up.

The ppl in the front of the line had been there since 5 the night before.



I am so happy i got it getting here on wed. the first day of my vacation. :banana: :banana: :woohoo: :woohoo: :thumbsup2 :cool1:

wow what a mess you had at your Walmart...

Our Walmart must have been better organized or learned something from the PS3 sale.

You had to show a drivers liscense to get a number

You had to stay in line ( they provided chairs) you were allowed one 15 minute break every 2 hours

Only 1 Wii per household

our store was up front with us and told us there was 28 available


We were number 6. So we went home with our Wii, Zelda and a classic controller.

Glad you got yours after that long wait I would have been very upset not to get one.

Actually, I read on the Gamestop website it's not coming out until June 1st. :sad2:

But I do have to aggree with you on this, the 3 games that are in my sig are the games I'm looking forward to the most. And they will be the best. :thumbsup2

Well, all the reviews I've read for Red Steel say it's very buggy and not very good. But of course everyone has their own opinions.

Oh sweet christamas, played a demo of Red Steel. I got hit by nothing quite alot, the sword fights were bugged out, aiming was off alot (point at enemy + shoot= you miss). Pretty wierd actually.

Not as bad as when I tried the PS3. Confused the crap out of me. Someone crashed a truck in MotoStorm into a wall, and I didn't know how to back up XD.

the steering wheel has been released...it is included with the games

Because when a WI-FI game comes out we should have a party and play against each other.

Animal Crossing Wii is a video game for the Wii console currently in development by Nintendo EAD. Little information about the game is known at this point and time.

In a recent interview Katsuya Eguchi, the man in charge of the development of Animal Crossing (Wii), stated that “someone could send a letter from their cellphone or from an email address on a PC to the Wii, and then the player living in the town in Animal Crossing could receive that letter…”

In an IGN interview, Katsuya Eguchi discussed how his team is exploring potential ways to take advantage of the WiiConnect24 feature, such as allowing friends to visit your town or leave messages while the machine is in standby mode.

On September 26, 2006, Satoru Iwata commented on the Wii’s message board system, saying:

“For example, if you’re playing Animal Crossing, a message like ‘Concert next Saturday in town’ will automatically be posted on the Message Board. The user doesn’t even have to be playing the game.”

In an interview, Katsuya Eguchi, the creator of Animal Crossing, discussed user designed furniture in the game:

“I think it’s a great idea. Of course, if you made your own furniture, you’d want to share it with others, to be able to give and receive hand-made stuff. Otherwise why would you make it? To be able to do that, you have to build in some place to keep that in the memory. The save data would be pretty huge, then. That’s a challenge I’d like to face, though.”

Also, in the December issue of Nintendo Power, a letter from Tom Nook is shown. A picture of the main character was also shown fishing in Issue 210 of Nintendo Power. The picture shows odd trees that were not used in other Animal Crossing games. The screen shot had a message on it: “Catch it!” This is most likely part of an Animal Crossing-themed microgame from the soon to be released Wii game, WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

According to IGN, the game had been confirmed for a Japanese release.

yea the senser really works.
Wii sports is better then i thought it would be (still not the best but...)
Twilight princess is amazing (just played for 2 hours. now my brother is playing it.)
The memory card is a SD camera card (i was surprised at that)
