We are going to LV in January for a convention. This will be our first trip! We are staying at the Paris! :cool1:
My question is about attire :confused3 what is "common" to wear in the casinos? Dressy - casual - anything goes??
Thanks

Unlike years ago when people used to dress up to go to LV, nowadays basically anything goes. Casual will work for most places. It can get very cold in Vegas in Jan.-especially at night, but still be sunny and warm while walking outside the hotels.
And, since you're staying at Paris anyway, I highly rec. their buffet. One of the best! We really enjoy the breakfast one. It's not cheap, but it sure is good! :goodvibes

Hello! Dress comfortably while in LV enjoying the sights and sounds. If you are going to any shows, I still dress for the occasion, but I always see people in shorts and tank tops :confused3
Quick tip for the Paris buffet! Yup, it's awesome as Dizneydaz reported, and it's pretty pricey. The cash registers at the Paris automatically switch from lunch to dinner pricing at a certain time. At that time, they also change out the menu items to the huge dinner selection. Go minutes before the price changes, and it's like an automatic "discount" for the buffet. We were there one time and the cashiers were yelling at people to hurry up so they could get the cheaper price! It was funny.

Pretty much anything you'd be comfortable wearing at WDW or DL, you'd be comfortable wearing in LV (weather permitting). You'll see people dressed up, but you'll see more people dressed down. The only exception are the fancier restaurants--some have dress codes. But any of the buffets or coffee shops or just walking around town, you'll be fine. Have a great time!
