Trying to decide on what day to fly on, anyone have suggestions and please explain why you choose the day of the
week you do.

We like to get in on Saturday. Our reasoning is because it's always the most crowded day at the parks, so we start on Sunday at MK. Usually it's: Sun-MK Mon-Epcot Tues-MGM Wed-AK/MK thurs-favorites Fri-open. It works for us!

We like to fly in on Wednesday's. Airfare is cheaper. Plus we do commando style at each of the parks on Thursday & Friday, and on Monday & Tuesday. This breaks it up a little for us and let's us be more relaxed on the weekend when it seems to be busier.

For the record, Sunday and Wednesday's are the busiest check in days at WDW resorts.

On our only other trip we flew in on Thurs. because airfare was significantly less. This upcoming trip we are arriving Wed. for the same reason plus it gives us Th. and F. to go full out, then take it a little easier over Sat. and Sun. then back to parks Mon. and Tues. full force. We plan to sleep in a bit on Sat. and Sun, enjoy things outside the parks and maybe do late afternoon/evening in parks for parades and fireworks.

Sunday is my choice, early flights are great, no traffic to airport .

Monday works well for us, weekend crowds are over and it gives us the whole week to see the parks before the crowds come back. We live so far away that we stay for 10 days each time we go and by starting on a Monday we only have the major crowds for one weekend. This year 12/24 1/3 PO-R :)
