I miss disney :sad1:
I normally go atleast once a year. This year I went in March and then in August I went to Disney and on the cruise with my best friend and I was supposed to go again this weekend and right before thanksgiving, but im not going anymore :sad1: Because we moved and my mom doesnt have enough vacation time yet and she is taking some of it off this week to come up to CT.

So Basically I Just Miss Disney Alot!!! And I really wanna go back :sad1: But mostly I want to go back for christmas, because it just doesnt feel like Christmas to me unless I go to Disney the week before.

Is anyone else feeling the same?

aww im sorry, I think most people on these boards are missing disney too.
VolleyballQT - I agree with what u say absed on be grateful u get to go, but every family situation is different and she may be rich and fully loaded :rotfl: [I like that term fully loaded it makes me laugh a lil] or she could have a time share,.....and time shares mean if u ahve the points you can stay on disney proprerty for virtually nothing minus food souviners etc. we dont know her situation or your or anyone elses.
Like I said we all miss disney :sad1: I just think you may have been a bit harsh volleyballqt in the way you said it.
i cant wait till i get to go back in a bit more than a month! :cool1:

sorry i came on harsh its just i absolutley HATE it when people say "Oh. Poor me! I have only been to disney 5 times this year and it's not enough!". its just, there are some families who arent as fortunate as you so quick complanin' cuz half the time, the time theyve only been there once or twice in their lifetime;sometimes they havent even been there or theyare never going too go there. its just, i dunno. people take things too much for granted and arent grateful. it just seems like sometimes people are too, i dunno, whats the word im looking for...selfish? they think they have to go to disney 10+ times in a year and if they dont, life sucks. im sorry again its just, be grateful you at least get to go once.......and dont be mad if you cant go more than once in a year. :guilty:

I seriously can't stand when people are like that. I thinkVolleyballQt07 has made a point, in saying that, if you get to go even once in your entire life, you're lucky. Seriously, there are people who'd love to go to Walt Disney World, but will never be able to go there because of budgeting.

2HOT2touch, I don't think you're rich. I think, assuming that I have no idea where you live, you're probably within a few hour's driving distance from WDW.

yes I agree with both of you, I just wanted to say how harsh VolleyballQT sounded in my opinion. Just because I know of people that go multiple times a year, including myself sometimes. Its not right to brag and complain about it, especialy when there are people reading these boards thinking, wow I wish I had that pleasure and could go mroe than once every 2-3 years. I know she originally posted looking for some sympthay, and pretty much got none. I am sorry for that but voleyballqt had a very good point.

My family has only been able to afford me to go twice.
I'm grateful for that, and maybe the reason we've only gone twice is because of timing and money. We go to WDW, we don't want to go to the value resorts, we like the Poly and such, and that cost more money. Some people have different tastes and can stand going to the Pop year after year, I enjoy being able to go a few times, in a nicer hotel.

i agree! :thumbsup2 ive only been there 6 times compared to everyone else's 20. i love disney, dont get me wrong, but wouldnt it get old for a while? going month, after month, after month, after month? we dont stay at the disney hotels and have no interest whatsoever to do so. we find the holiday inn express's to meet our needs! the one we stayed at sept2006, have a waterslide in the pool, huge beds, and free breakfast. what could be better? :confused3 :goodvibes :) :listen:

i'm grateful that i have been to disney the few times i have. i don't mean to brag, but i've been 7 times... and although i miss it, i kind of want to go back, and kind of don't. idk why though. i have some friends that have never been, or have only been once. and i feel bad, i mean, i think they can afford it, they just don't have time. <-- idk. but even though i've been [the times i've been] i don't mind that i haven't gone since 2002. =| well, that's all i have to share. and i hate how people (in their signatures) put that they've been 30 times! i hate that. what about the "less fortunate?" (no offense to anyone). but what about us? don't you people even feel the least bit guilty about putting that you've been 20 or 30 times, while some people have been once, or not at all? am i right? or am i right?

and listen. i didn't mean to brag, so if you took it as an offense, i'm really sorry, but i wasn't trying to brag. ;)

I don't see it as offensive or ungrateful. Posting trips in your signature is just something that a lot of people, especially on the TPA&S board do. I feel happy anyone who has gone, regardless of the number, because I know that they had a blast.
We also don't have enough information as we could. Perhaps she has annual passes, making multiple trips an option. Maybe she lives close by. Maybe she doesn't. I just don't think it is our right to begrudge her Disney trips.

Heh, I miss it too, even though I've only been once and that was in 2003 I think...but were supposed to go back next November for my DSis9 (nearly 10)'s 11th birthday. We went for my birthday last time so I guess it's her turn. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

wow, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound like a spoiled brat, and i didn't post for simpathy. i was just wondering if everyone missed it as much as me. and yes, my family is financially stable, but we are FAR from rich. And the reason I miss it so much right now is because i am stressed and Disney relaxes me. I'm sorry that i came off as a spoiled brat but I am intitled to missing Disney just as much as anyone else, no matter how many times I have gone. I mean, as soon as I get off the plane coming back from disney I am already missing it.

eh! im sorry too. i came off a little harsh. its just im sick of people (not you :) ) who complain because they only go to disney 4 times a year and not 5 or 6. it just annoys the hell outta me that people have to go everything month or so and like get all mad when they dont go one month outta the year. i only get to go once every 2 years. and let me tell you, it sucks. but wouldnt ya get kinda sick of it going month after month after month after month after month after month after, well you get it. it barely ever changes and dont get em wrong, i love disney its just, there are other things to do in life people! :confused3

I agree with everyone. I miss disney a lot. and unfortunately, my family is not financially stable enough to go multiple times a year. Im lucky and very grateful that I get to go once every two to three years. I only know a handful of people in my town that have even gone once, so my 5 times is really lucky. It is a little annoying when people whine about not getting to go one month out of the every month that they go(no one here :teeth: )but I dont think its really bragging or being brattish if they post it in their sigs. I too actually had my trips in my sig, but took them out to make room for my christmas things. so thats my opinion.

I really miss Disney and want to make the best of our trip this Christmas because we wont be going back for two years but i will be going on other smaller less expensive trips so i wont be as sad. We own the vacation club and have annual passes so thats why we have been able to go back so many times. My family is no where near rich either but since we went the first time we try to do what we can to go back. We also going try to go during the slower seasons so it costs much less. This is our first two weeks trip and its for christmas. I also feel for the people that dont go that often because almost all my friends have never been so they always let me know how it feels all the time.

I used to have a friend who has been to Disney five times. I realize that may not seem like a lot to some people, but it's alot to me. Especially since I've only been once and that was when I was eleven, and she had been four times before. You can't even begin (or maybe you can :thumbsup2 ) to imagine how suckish I felt when she was braging about being in disney four times. I just don't get why some people decide they want to shove it on others faces when they go to Disney. :confused3 But, yeah, I see what you were getting at. :goodvibes

I really try not to shove it in my friends faces. none of my close friends have been to wdw. I would hate if I had never been to disney and my friend kept bragging about it, so I make a point to keep quiet about it. but sometimes I brag a little when my friends and I are joking around, but I never constantly brag about it just to be bragging.
