We're only going to be at Hilton Head for one night on our way to our home OKW. Since we have never stayed, I was wondering about a good restaurant for dinner that night. Since we would have traveled by car and at the point we arrive the longest part of our travel should be behind us (16-18 hours) (4 adults and 5 yo) we will probably be tired but yet want to have a good meal, but not a long leisurely one. Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thank you.

There is an Italian, Mexican and 2 seafood restarauts at shelter Cove which is less than 100 yards from resort easy walk over bridge.

There is the kingfisher you will see it on your right as you enter the resort. We just spent the week there.

One of the seafood restaurants, just outside the resort is called Scott's. We always eat there. I think there is a DVC discount, check with the front desk.

When you check in, your DVC package should include a listing of the restaurants that will give you a discount. (Usually about 10%). Some of them have no restrictions while others do. (Eg, must be seated before 5:00 pm)

Have a great stay.

The Hilton Head Diner in nearby and has a large menu with a lot of variety - casual but decent food. Leaving the resort, turn right on the main road and it is just a ways up on the right.

All the above restaurants are good but for a special meal I would recomend the Oyster Warehouse. It is across the marsh but not to far. They have great food, are kid friendly, nice view of the marsh, have a DVC discount, and are reasonably price.

The front desk can give you directions.

Enjoy!
