I am seriously considering getting a supplementary membership from my parents membership ( I don't drive, so I don't need a full membership), thru CAA here in Canada, but wanted to know what kind of discounts I would get at attractions/hotel with the card?? The Candy Cane won't accept my parents card for a discount, so that's what prompted me to think about a supplementary membership. If anyone can help me, that would be great!!

Thanx

From what I can tell the AAA (CAA) can get you pretty good rates for hotels and some discount on the park tickets you would buy from your local CAA if it's like my state I can go to the local AAA office and purchase tickets at a discount.

Since you don't drive and you can't use your parent's card you should consider what you're actually saving in room cost vs the cost of your membership.

If you're a frequent traveler you may benefit from the AAA room discounts. In addition you may want to get a Disneyclub.com membership for other Disney discounts.

Good luck! I'm using Priceline for my 3* hotel and don't need the AAA membership cause I can get discount park tickets from the military as I'm in the reserves and they have great discounts. I did sign up for the DisneyClub which gives additional discounts but if you have an American Express card you could get restaurant discounts in the park just by showing your card.

Good luck and keep researching there's so much out there!
