OKW Internet Access ??

I did a search and found a few older threads on this subject but wanted to make sure my info was up to date. As I understand it, the villas at OKW have wired high-speed internet access that costs about $9.95/day. Is that still correct?

Is there free wireless access anywhere else on property?

Yes, that is true for ALL WDW resorts.

A few of the resorts do have wireless access in public areas of the resort (I think BC has it), but it is NOT free.

There is no wireless access in any resort rooms that I'm aware of.

As Diane said, the cost is $9.95 per 24 hour period for broadband access. Dialup can be accessed for $0.35 per call (for members) as long as you have an ISP with a local access number.

Just remember to bring an ethernet cable to go from the laptop to the wall outlet. I have one I carry with me so I don't know if they have an 'extra' onsite that they'll let you use or rent.

They now provide cables in the villas. If one is not there, they will bring one to your room without charge. We had 2 in the room on our last trip.

I bring my Airport Express (works for Mac and PC), and I get wireless internet in my room (my neighbors get it too!). I'm sure you could bring any wireless router.
