GOOD MORNING BLUE TEAMMATES!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

long time no chat -- i've got to get caught up here but wanted to start this weeks thread so that all can post or PM me with their weight change and/or 5 a day challenge results.

unfortunately i was up 1 lb today -- not surprising as my very busy days resulted in me not logging into sparkpeople and that spirals me downward. but i must say, i have been talking with myself everyday about that POOR CHOICE b/c each day i worked out it was such a struggle! as compared to the weeks where i eat well and workouts are so rewarding! today i'm back into sparkpeople and eating well -- tomorrow i have a long walk and i'll probably pay yet again for my poor choices this week! ok -- it's a struggle and i'm 'fessing up to not meeting my 'standards' for last week. but that week is over and i'm moving forward to this week!!

how about you??

oh yea -- i had an email from my Mom this morning (alreadyexcitedgrammy) she is a maintainer this week which is SUCCESS in itself! :cheer2:

Good Morning Blue
Just a quick note before off to work. I lost 2 pounds this week, which I am very surprised at. Even though I was being extra careful with eating, drinking water and exercising my scale was hovering in the same spot all week, then this morning minus 2 pounds (I guess it was just playing with me all week :teeth: ) Only 6 more pouns til my Dec goal!!!!
As for my 5 a day I did real good (5 or 6 each day) with it 'til yesterday, I just couldn't force myself to eat another salad with dinner, soI only got 3 servings yesterday :sad2:

Amanda your new clippie is absolutely beautiful on you!!!

Remember BL on tonight!

I'm down 2 pounds for the week and I ate at least 5 servings of fruit and veggies everyday. :thumbsup2

Biggest Loser is on at 8pm on the east coast and not 9pm tonight.

Congrats to all of you losers. :thumbsup2 :Pinkbounc :woohoo: Those of you who are struggling hang in there. Just keep moving and making healthy choices.

I am down 5 pounds!!! I can't believe it. I will have to put up my 5 pound clippie tomorrow.

I did good everyday except today on the fruit and veggies. Does today count as last week or this week?

I am going to reward myself with a nice bubble bath and tomorrow I am buying a Keith Ablow book! :teeth:

Ooooh, that glitter looks mighty fine on you, Amanda! Weigh to go!

Molli, you have the right attitude, that's for sure! I'm with your mom-I stayed the same according to the official weigh in. My scale is one of those step on it three times to see which one comes up twice and take it.

Jill and Becky, you two just keep going-like the energizer bunny! Congratulations.

Amber, I'm waiting to see that new clippie of yours, so hurry and get it up. I know that it will sparkle and gleam.

I did really well on the 5 a day. I was most pleased with the weekend, since that is the time that I find hardest for the fruits, veggies AND water! By logging them every day, I was able to keep on top of the task.

Well done, Ladies. We ROCK!

Today was a rest day - I needed it too! But tomorrow - plan on tming

Hey do we have a challenge going this week? mmmmm - I'm going to check that out and if I don't see one - let's get one going tomorrow - PLEASE - I need one to help keep me on track

YEA AMBER!!!! :cheer2:

I was up a pound this week it's TOM so I'm really not surprised..... I didn't partake in the challenge.... I did up my veggie/fruit intake (which isn't hard as I hardly eat either) but no way did I make 5 per day.

I'm down one pound this week.. it's just about AF time, though, so I knew it wouldn't be much at all.
I really didn't do well on the 5 a day
2,4,2,1,3 (not sure what days I'm missing..) so I really need to work on that!

11-16-2006, 02:57 PM
Looks like everyone is doing GREAT!!! Congrats to all on the weight loss and challenge. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Mermaid- Don't worry about TOM. Seems to me that if you normally gain weight during that time, you probably have lost, and only one pound showed up as gain on the scale. Does that make any sense? Probably not, but I am sure you undersatnd, being a woman! LOL :rotfl:

Actually, it's almost TOM for me. Funny thing is, I tend to gain weight about 1+1/2 weeks before, then I drop it all about 2 or 3 days before I start. So I was lucky that WI was right before I start! :teeth:

I got my Keith Ablow book today :thumbsup2 and I got a new Glade Plug-In Light Show for my bubble baths :3dglasses . LOL I am actually taking baths every day now (in addition to morning shower). It keeps me from snacking before dinnertime. Now I just need to keep stocked up on my favorite bath stuffs. My current faves are Victoria's Secret "Love Spell" bubble bath and Bath and Body Works "soak it up" Tahitian Bath Milk and their Moonlit Path bubble bath. Then I pop in a relaxing CD like the ones you can get at Target like "Relaxing Jazz", "Relaxation for Women", or "Just Relax: Maui". Mmmmm... I think I just might go take my bath early! :cloud9:

Have a great night and I'll chat with you chicas later!

ok gals -- i'm outta here -- but i want to see LOTS of chatter when i return monday or tuesday if i can't get on monday. for the 5 a day challenge I think we did awesome -- we are at 87.6 % success out of a perfect score of 100%. we rock! keep eating those veggies and fruits!! I have everyone's weights at this point and i'll catch up with those missing upon my return. (daisy_77, jayna22, and MickeySP -- go ahead and PM me your WI results and i'll add it to the team tracker when i get back)

AlreadyexcitedGrammy is going to follow up with the purple team to determine the winner and she'll distribute the code for our signatures if we took the title from them!! LOL

hugs to all -- drink LOTS of water and stay ON PLAN!!!

oh, i got my long walk done this week for the 1/2 training -- woohoo! it's been such a busy week! now if i can just manage through this weekend retreat without gaining any poundage!! send mucho PD to me!!

Well how did everyone like the show last night? I can't believe there's only 1 blue team member left, and voted out by his own team mate. I'm kind of rootin for the girls, though they're not very nice, or I guess just as ruthless as some of the guys. But still it would be nice to see a woman win!!! Especially since we women tend to have a harder time getting it off! What did you think about the "fit" Adrian had? I agreed with her on the idea that it was a totally unfair challenge where there was 5 against 2, but come on girl, suck it up and quit quitting!!!!

Mermaid- if you don't mind me asking....what kind of eating plan are you on that you don't eat very many fruits or veggies? and with TOM or AF or what ever you'll drop that extra water weight in just a couple of days!!

emh1129 great job on the pound!!! :cheer2:

Hey do we have a challenge going this week? mmmmm - I'm going to check that out and if I don't see one - let's get one going tomorrow - PLEASE - I need one to help keep me on track
Hey Bev maybe we need to challenge ourselves to posting everyday, ie how we did with our eating and our exercise, our water consumption, etc. That always motivates me. I don't want to post that I was a big slacker, and I don't want to lie, so hopefully it'll get me (keep me) on track! Especially with ohmom off the boards for a few days we may need this to keep this thread going!

OK princess@heart you and I think a lot alike. I just love my bubble baths!! I also have moonlit path. I'll need to try a couple of the others you mentioned, they sound YUMMY!! And what's better than a yummy with no calories??

Molli have a great trip, and good job on getting in that long walk. And lots of :wizard: :wizard: for a poundage free retreat!

Hi all,

I had a gain of .4 this week, but I'm I actually had a totally OP and great WW week. Go figure?? I'm not letting it get me down though, because I think my body does that every once in a while, it seems to be a trend. Then I have 2-3 good weeks, so maybe I'm just due. Next week is TOM, so that scares me a little, but no matter what I'm doing good and it will eventually show in the scale!!

I had a very stressful week, but I'm doing better. I had a huge event at work that I was working for the past few months to pull off. It was a Neuroscience Poster Session and I had 95 people who submitted posters, we had 5 internal speakers and 1 external speaker from the University of Pittsburgh. I worked my butt off Tuesday afternoon getting all the easel's put up, and foam core boards put up as well as putting everyone's number and pushpins on the boards. Then we had to break them down after the meeting yesterday. I have been so exhausted the past few days. Plus my DH worked late yesterday and I Ryan had CCD and Taryn had Gymnastics until 9pm. By the time we got home it was almost 9:30pm and I still had to eat........I was so tired. The good news is that I did well eating yesterday for lunch, I probably did more damage last night because I think I snacked a bit much last night - Still within my points though. Today I was a bit stressed at work because I was so backed up from e-mails and work while I was at this event. I did have Thai for lunch and I'm almost out of flex points, but I had cereal for dinner and I'm not snacking. I will just be good the rest of the week, which should help jumpstart my losing this week.

Have a great Friday tomorrow everyone.

YES YES YES - this is the PERFECT challenge

Molli gave me VERY STRICT instructions that she better NOT get back and this thread had not been posted on much - and - I am sure you don't want to hear from just me - so let's ALL take this challenge - PLEASE

First, I can report yesterday I tm'd 3 miles and continue to stretch everyday too. I just checked my 1/2 marathon training schedule and it's just 30 minutes this morning (that sounds doable) think it will be the gazelle and some weights. Tomorrow is my long walk of 7 miles. Missed my H20 class last night - had a Thanksgiving dinner with my DMIL at her Assisted Living home. I skipped the roll - had some of the dressing and mashed potato, ate the filling out of the pumpkin pie (no crust) so not the greatest but not all that bad since I had planned for the meal. The food tasty salty to me and it must have been - my ring is "tight" this morning and it generally is loose. Oh - well - moving on for the day and drinking lots of H20 to flush out.

Okay - as I said, tomorrow is my 7 miler but I also expect to be burning lots of calories cheering for OSU vs Michigan - big game ! GO BUCKS!! Lots of excitement this week as this game approaches :teeth:

Have a good day everyone - :wizard: :wizard: to Molli ~ :wizard: :wizard: to me (THAT YOU ALL POST :lmao: ) and :wizard: :wizard: to all that we make good choices, exercise and drink lots of H20!

Well, with all that :wizard: :wizard: floating around, how can we NOT post?? :teeth:

I didn't do too badly yesterday, but did have some popcorn for a snack last night during Survivor.

I haven't got to the activity part of my plan yet. I will get there....just not yet. :rolleyes1 (and that IS a cop-out! I'm achy and I know that movement would be GOOD for me!)

It rained horribly here yesterday, and the kids were inside for 2 of 3 recesses. The weather really sets them off, and puts us all in a 'mood'. Cross your fingers for me for today, although, it looks dark, dreary and WET! Booooooo!

The weekend is always hard for me to get my fruits and veggies and water in, so I will post each day and let you know how that is going for me.

Mel, I like how you have tracked your body and know that sometimes it's up and sometimes it's down, and it all works out in the wash.

Have a good day, Everyone. We can do this . . . . . together!

I everyone - I'm fullfing my post ever day challenge right now!!

Today is going well, I'm so proud of myself for getting totally ontrack after my big lunch yesterday. I'll admit too - I had a fried banana (the horrors), but I only had 1 (it came with 4). Me and the girl I went to lunch with each had one and then brought 2 back for the girl who recommended it. It was just ok, and I really wish I hadn't eaten it after I did. But, I had flex points and I still have 1 left. Doing well today, my plan is to try to stay exactly 20-22 in points from now until WI. It will be a tough weekend though. Tomorrow is one of Taryn's cheerleading competitions in New Jersey. We leave at 10am and won't get back till between 5-6pm. The food at competitions is always horrible. I'm going to try to bring a little cooler for my purse with food or bring snack type things for lunch for me and just buy the kids stuff. Then on Sunday me and Taryn are going out to dinner (I can handle this) and then going to the Panic at the Disco concert in Philadelphia. Big time bonding with her this weekend. Poor Ryan has to go with me to the competition because DH has guards this weekend..........poor kid!

I was able to go to the Gym for the first time all week. Too busy and not in the office most of the week. I lifted weights both upper and lower body. Yeah me!

Have a great weekend everyone. I'll do my best to post tomorrow. It's going to be a very busy day. Maybe as I'm eating breakfast tomorrow morning.

MelanieC
11-17-2006, 03:22 PM
Oooh - Just thought that I could bring Kashi Go Lean cereal to eat at the competition. It's high in Protein and Fiber and easily portable. Anyone else got any ideas. If I can keep it cool I was thinking about string cheese and crackers. Also I could bring a Kashi Granola bar - Only 2 points there.

Oh I'm glad to see all the posts. I'm not really in the mood to type much. I just got my flu shot and my arm is achey!
I did well yesterday with my eating and got in 90 minutes on the bike!

Good job everyone who's keeping on track!!
Hopefully I'll feel a bit better and come and post more later!
Have a GREAT FRIDAY!!

Morning~

Just a quick check in while I finish my coffee - I am about to endure my 7 miler! it's dark out and chilly so I have talked myself into just staying inside and tming :goodvibes I know most folks would rather be outside, but I like my tm and this way I can stay on a 15 min mile and make sure I am done in time to then move on to a hair appt - come back home pack a bag and we are off to our son's house - watching the BIG football game there - but basically going so that DH can help him wire his new tv and mount on the wall!

Melc - good going packing things for you to eat today - :wizard: to your daughter and team.

AlaskaMOM - hope your arm has recovered by now and no repercussion from the shot either. 90 min on the bike ~ you could have biked with me as I tm this morning :teeth:

Other thing is Molli left me instructions on how to change the clippie if BLUE won the challenge last week - I skimmed on what I am to do BUT it looks like I won't get that done until tomorrow when I get home - "let's keep it a secret that I took so long to do that - OKAY :rolleyes1

But now that posting everyday challenge - make sure you do that -remember I won't like it when DD "lashes" me with a noodle - if there aren't enough posts on this thread :yay:

Good morning everyone,

Bev- I'll make sure I post tonight. By the way, I agree with you. It is definately dark and chilly now in the mornings. I'd be on the TM too! No sense in going out if you have a way to train indoors.

I'm going to try really hard to stay focused. I really miss not having those flex points in the bank in case you go over. Having to make sure your exactly ON TARGET is tough. So much for trying to stay at 20, I think 22 points is going to be the magic number. I was exactly at 22 last night. If I eat 6 points during the day today, then I have enough for an awesome quasadilla with homemade guacamole - YUMMY! I think I'll be so nervous for her I won't want to eat tons today anyway.

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning! :wave2:
I have started the day okay, and will have salad/veggies for lunch since tonight DSis, Mom, BIL, and I have a dessert/silent auction to go to. I'm drinking my green tea (which I continually add boiling water to the pot as it empties and becomes just hot water), and will try to get some other water in during the day, too.
Stay the course, Ladies. And pop in to let us know how you are doing!

Just a quick hi, because DH is taking me out today, then I get to see my brother tonight for the first time in like 3 months.

I did pretty bad last night. I didn't feel like cooking or going out to eat, so we orderd pizza! :confused3

Then this morning, I had some leftover pizza! :sad2:

But I will be eating lots of salad and veggies for lunch, and hopefully a light dinner at Grandma's.

I am so glad everyone is doing well... :cheer2:

Debbie- I got a case of Lipton's Diet Green Tea with citrus the other day and will be starting to drink it today, so I'm with ya!

MelanieC- You are doing so good. Keep up the good work. Hope you enjoyed the quesadillas! Yumm!!! :goodvibes BTW, have you tried the crunchy Kashi bars? The ones I have are some kind of pumpkin flavor. They are so good!

AlreadyexcitedGrammy- you're doing a great job keeping up the posts! :thumbsup2 Have you found out if Blue team won yet? And you and those Bucks... LOL! I have a kid at work (2-years-old), if you say "Go Redskins" he'll say, "NO! Go Buckeyes!" :lmao: His dad is from Ohio.

AlaskaMOM- I hope you're feeling better! :sunny: Good on the bike! That's awesome!

Okay, I'll be back tomorrow!!! :wave2:

Hey everone!!

I am feeling blah today  AF came and when that happens my entire back up to my head just aches for the first day.

But, i am doing good on my eating so far today. I had my cup of coffee and a bowl of quacker weight control oatmeal.

I've been slacking on my water a bit but i plan on fixing that today.

By the way GO WOLVERINES!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: ;)

It's great to see all the new posts!!! WTG Blue Team!!

Bev that's awesome doing 7 miles, I don't care if it's in or outside, it's the doing it that's great! I need to get on my TM today (too cold out minus 2 today) I really like the bike, but I need to change it up so my body doesn't get too used to the routine.

Amanda I feel your pain, I'm majorly PMSing now and craving , I don't know what, but craving! Does working out, stretching, maybe walking will ease the back aches? What about a nice long soak in the tub? Good job staying on plan with your eating even though you're feeling BLAH!

Amber Don't fret too much on the pizza slip. It's the way of the world we live in. The good thing is you realize that today you need to make extra careful choices! Have a nice visit with Grandma!

Debbie- sounds like you're making some good choices for lunch considering you're going to a function named after dessert. You are a brave woman. I don't think I could handle the temptation!

Melanie- :wizard: for you DD and the competition! And :wizard: to you to stay on plan, and not succomb to the food availabe at the competition. And :wizard: to your DS for having to sit through it with you! Have a great time!

As for me my arm is all better. It wasn't real bad just a dull ache, heavy feeling. But I am so glad I got it, I DO NOT want to get sick while at DW. (or heck any time!) I didn't get in any exercise yesterday, I took a nap instead. But today I plan on doing some make-up work.

Got on the scale this morning ( I know we weigh in on Wed, but I'm a compulsive/obsessive scale hog) and I'm now down (Drum roll please)................ 50 pounds!! About time to change my clippie :Pinkbounc And my trip is in 3 weeks, I think I might make it to 55 lbs, I'm so excited!!

I went shopping this morning to get most of the thanksgiving supplies. Boy this will be a whole different meal this year. No rolls!!!! (they will be missed :sad2: ) sugar free pumpkin cheesecake (the pumpkin pie was my favorite leftover!) vegetable loaded stuffing, but the big bird will still be awesome!!! But I also tried on a bunch of clothes 1 or 2 sizes smaller than I'm wearing right now, and they fit!!! The one 2 sizes smaller doesn't look to pretty but they button and zip and I can sit in them! I think in a couple more weeks they may be the only pair of work pants to fit!

Have an awesome weekend BLUE I'll be thinking about you all!

Hi everyone,

DD14 placed 6 out of 8, I felt really bad for them because they DID just a great routine. We were just outdone by some really great gymnastics and some slightly tougher stunting. The shooting stars our girls did looked so awesome.

I'm so glad I thought it out and brought stuff to eat. They did have water there, but all they had was pizza and hot dogs along with chips, candy and baked goods. I would have been so in trouble. I guess I could have eaten a pizza, but I feel so much better. I ended up taking a container with ice in it and put a string cheese on the ice to keep it cold. I took my woven wheats crackers from Whole foods (just wheat and salt), and a kashi bar. I wasn't hungry till about 4pm and that is when I ate the kashi bar. I ate the string cheese and crackers around 11:30am and it did hold me over. I ate dinner as soon as I got home. I'm so glad I made it through that.

DS9 was such a good boy, I felt sorry for him. He was a trooper though.

My next challenge is dinner tomorrow night, but I plan on having the Thai lettuce wraps at the Cheese cake factory. It's mostly all veggies, except for the chicken with peanuts. There is not a lot of chicken and I don't eat the noodles that come with it. Then I just put a touch of the peanut sauce on it.

My scale was down today to a new number - YEAH. I guess my body liked having two big point days and then the last two days of eating lower points.

AlaskaMom - Great job on the 50's pounds. Way to go!! :cheer2: I'm glad your arm is feeling better.

momto4obkids - Hang in there - TOM is always rough! Last month was really tough for me.

princess@heart - Hope your having fun with DH and I hope you have a great time with your brother. I love the Pumpkin Crunchy Kashi Bars. They remind me of Nature Valley Granola Bars! I like the almond one too.

Debbie - Hope your doing well - It sounds like you have a plan for the day. That is the best way to start it!!

WTG Melanie, planning ahead and staying away from all that junk! :thumbsup2 and great job on the scale cooperating with you!

Question for the Kashi bar lovers among us: Do you know the carb count? They sound so yummy, but I'm always bummed when I pick up something like that and it's loaded with carbs. So I have to put it right back down, and sometimes that is sooooo hard!

Hope you're feeling better Amanda!

Let's keep up the pace!!

GO BLUE

THANK YOU BLUE BUDDIES - you are doing a great job posting! No wet noodle for me on that aspect BUT .......... I also got instructions to send everyone that took the 5 a day veggie/fruit challenge "the code" so that they can paste into their siggie. (I am claiming that BLue won - cause I did not hear differently from anyone Blue/Purple team captains :teeth:) I just put it in mine, so you can see it. Well, AlaskaMOM I sent you an email with the code BUT now when I try anyone else it doesn't let me :guilty: I can't PM it to you , I have to email it so - can everyone who took the challenge send me a PM with your EMAIL so I can get the code to you. Thanks........... whew - at least this what I think I am suppose to be doing and if not Molli will get it "fixed" but not until Tuesday. She will be home late tonight, has to work ALL day tomorrow (that will be a long day for her) and her younger DD has a musical tomorrow evening............... she will be ready for a resting day at the computer Tuesday!

Okay - I did not do that great while we were gone - YES - I did my 7 miler and really felt decent - though I was ready to be done! DS made b-b-q ribs, butternut squash and grilled onions for dinner - It was delicious - he bought some mini pumpkin cakes and I ate too many of them tho :guilty: - I know I kept hearing the voice that said "no more" and the voice that said "But you walked 7 miles today - go ahead" OF COURSE I listened to the voice of go ahead and so now since I made the choice I won't keep whining just move on.

Princess@heart - Give that boy a great big ol' BUCKEYE hug for me  I tell you my dinner was not digesting well until that game finally ended!

AlaskaMOM - 50 lbs gone - APPLAUSE....APPLAUSE and More APPLAUSE!!
You are doing FANTASTIC and should be so very very proud of yourself - you will make the next 5 for your DIS goal - keep up the good work!!

Momto4obkids and Debbie - just hang in there and your hard work will be a great reward!

Thanks again everyone for PMing me your email address and POSTING. our team capt will be so happy to see that we didn't let her down on posts :cheer2:

I completly understand about the clothing about a month ago I bought some new stuff it is mostly all to large. I didn't have any old clothing in the sizes I am now because I am smaller now than I was in high school. I have been buying occasional pieces but by the time I wear it a few times, it is too large. The pants I bought a month ago were a tight 18 I can now wear a 16 without a problem. My belt with holes the entire way from end to end is my best friend these past few months. My shirts are pretty much all size 12 to 16, I was wearing size 22-24 pants and size 22 shirts at the start of the year. I can now wear a size large t-shirt and it is a little big, I was wearing a 2x. I have people who say they would love to have this problem. However I hate shopping as I have long arms and legs and struggle to find clothing and my wallet isn't liking it either.

I did get a bunch of clothing given to me, however it is mostly all too big already.

Today I was at a lung cancer walk, I walked the hilly trail twice. I did not eat any of the donuts, hot dogs or chips that they had for food. I had some coffee and waited until I got some and ate some chicken vegetable soup.

Keep on moving and eating healthy.

Hey all,
I didn't get to post yesterday..........too much going on. Got up, went to church, went to grocery store, ate lunch, got ready, took DD to the Cheese Cake Factory for dinner (stayed totally OP too!), shopped for a few minutes, hey we were at the King of Prussia Mall (3rd largest mall in the world - so I've been told) and then took her to the concert. We got home at 11:30am last night and I passed out in bed with ringin ears.

Today going well..........staying the course in the food category. No gym for lunch because I had a meeting at another site so I had to travel to be there by 1pm. That meant I got no lunch hour to myself either. I wolfed down my lunch before I left. At least tomorrow DH and the kids are coming to take me to my favoritest (I know its not a word) Sushi restaurant.

I'll try to poast again tonight. I just wanted to jump on and be accountable!

I'm not feeling to good today. A slight headache, probably since I hard time getting to sleep last night. OR it's also a indicator of TOM very soon. I really need to be doing some exercise, but am talking myself out of it every which way I can. See I'm here posting, and I have absolutely NOTHING to say! :sad2:

OK how about this,
alright Blue Team, Let's get our heiney's in gear and really be the BIggest Loser!

Hi Jill,
I hope you are feeling better- It's not fun having a headach! Just had spagetti for dinner with a little parmesan cheese and I still have 5 points left for the night.........sort of feels like I won the lottery, lol! Hmm, what to spend it on.

I hope everyone is doing well - GO BLUE!

did my 3 miles today tming and just checked 40 minutes on the schedule for me tomorrow - probably will be my last H20 class (60 min) but if up early enough something here too ......we'll see - got a nice cup of hot "bedtime" tea and off to read a few minutes.

I saw a friend tonight who has not seen me for about a month - she said "you're losing weight, aren't you" - well those words will keep me from snacking tonight :teeth: Now why doesn't that darn scale listen too and move downward...............................

Tired and cold. But I am not eating anything now that it is 9:00. Melanie, enjoy the 5 point 'splurge'. Jill, you and Becky are right. I need to get mooooving. . . . right after a good night's sleep. ;) We're learning about energy at school right now, and I sure could use some of the kids' energy! They are boundless.

Hey team-
I have been snooping around the other colors threads, and it seems that there's a little less enthusiasm than there used to be. I wonder is it time to merge the teams? I know that on the show they're all on their own now, but I really don't think we want to be; or want the other teams members to be.
What do you think ohmom, is it time to turn team competition into individual competition, all reporting in on one thread?
I'm really feeling it for the red team, they don't seem to have much going on at all!!

Keep up the good work BLUE!
Have a great day everyone! :sunny:

Hi, blue team! I'm sorry that I have been MIA--my computer died for real last week. There was no fixing it. I was just able to purchase a new one and get it set up. I'm back though. Sorry.

Also, my cast came off today, so I probably won't be able to figure out tomorrow's weigh in. I'll just take my weight tomorrow and start again next week. I just wanted to let you know ahead of time.

I haven't done any reading/catching up so I hope that you all had a great week!

So glad to hear the cast came off. :thumbsup2

Perhaps you need to weigh the cast and then subtract that weight from your weight and base your weight off of that.

ETA:  Nevermind I see it already came off which most likely means you don't have it anymore.

I have been eating everything in sight today. Not good, not good not good. :sad2: It is TOM and that is why.

Just keep on moving and making healthy choices. :thumbsup2

Jana, here's your chance to weigh in and lose the cast weight! Kind of like cutting your hair before the weigh in, or wearing jeans the first night, and cotton shorts the next. :rotfl:

I've been working on my Christmas list. Why is it that no matter how hard I try to cut back the cost on the things, I always end up WAAAAAAAY over? I've been juggling all I can-giving what I've bought to the kids for their sibs so that they don't have to spend the money, but I am STILL over. :confused3

Unfortunately, the credit card is getting the work out these days. Oil changes, computer repair for DS and DD just called....she is out of money, out of groceries and the rent's due. Sheeesh. Add it all up, and you get Stress with the capital S. :sad2:

Jill, I'm feeling sorry for that red team, too. I'm so glad to be a part of the blu-est and best-est team! :cheer2:  :cheer2:

Just checking in :)
Sorry I haven't been posting that much.. I had an exam this week and all of my extra time was devoted to studying (I think it paid off, though!).
I think I'm on-track for the most part (except for the wine in my glass right now  )
But I look forward to seeing the new thread and I'll be around more ;)

And good news.. my DH unburied the treadmill and now I have no excuse- I am going to use it! :lmao: I guess it's not just a clothes rack afterall :rotfl2:
Hope everyone is doing well and making smart choices! :cheer2:
